''Kick Man'' (alternatively called ''Kick'') is a 1981 UsefulNotes/ArcadeGame from Creator/MidwayGames. This game has you playing a clown on a unicycle controlled by a trackball and your mission is to catch and/or pop balloons on your head. If you miss a balloon, all is not lost as you can kick the balloon back into the air [[CaptainObvious hence the game's name]]. If a balloon hits the ground, you lose a life. The game alternates between rounds where you have to pop the balloons by catching them on your head and rounds where you have to simply catch the balloons; you pop them after getting enough on your head.

VideoGame/PacMan also appears in the game as a SpecialGuest. He will appear in some rounds and like the balloons, you have to catch Pacman on your head. He'll also eat the balloons for extra points and any ghosts which you can also catch in the later rounds. Bonus rounds include having to catch balloons on your head tossed by people in buildings on both side of the screen while avoiding bombs they throw at you.

!!This video game provides examples of:

* AlwaysNight: You play in a city at nighttime.
* CartoonBomb: These get thrown at you during the bonus rounds.
* CoversAlwaysLie: The protagonist of the game is supposedly to be a clown yet the cabinet art for the game depicts [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Kick_Man_Arcade_Cabinet.jpg what looks like a track & field runner]] instead.
* TheEighties: The appearance of Pacman gives this away.
* ExtremeOmnivore: Pacman eats balloons!
* TheGoldenAgeOfVideoGames
* OneHitPointWonder: If even one object (balloon or Pacman) hits the ground, you lose a life.
* OneWheeledWonder: Your playable clown hero rides on a unicycle.
* SpecialGuest: VideoGame/PacMan appears as do the ghosts from the game.
* StandardSnippet: The traditional circus music "Entry of the Gladiators" plays [[SoundtrackDissonance when you lose a life]].
* WhatCouldHaveBeen: According to the [[http://www.atariprotos.com/rumormill/2600/2600rumor.htm AtariProtos rumor mill page]], a port for the Atari 2600 was planned but ultimately cancelled.
