* ActorAllusion: For the quest to kill five Cuberials, the client's name is "Uni Sound-alike". This would refer to Sayaki Miki from PuellaMagiMadokaMagica, since Uni and Sayaka have the same Japanese voice actress (Eri Kitamura).
** ...''and'' the same English-dub voice actress (Sarah Williams).

* EarthShatteringKaboom: The final hit of the [[spoiler:"Plutia: HDD" attack]], where Gamindustri gets exploded. But don't worry; [[CallBack just like with Neptune's ultimate attack in the first game,]] "This isn't actually happening."
-->'''Purple Heart''': That's a dramatization... right?

* [[InfinityPlusOneSword Infinity Plus One Disc]]: The final disc that you unlock this game gives you a level 5 to ''all three colors''. The catch? You'll have to collect ''all 27 medals of the game'' which can only be obtained by killing (for the most part) bosses in the zone with the flag up (aka the place must have a "Tough Foe" in the dungeon, though some have to be at "Risky Foe"). ''And they're not easy''.

** SequelEscalation: The "Superior Angels" attack. The human version may be the same as before, but the HDD version... well, you never saw [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bm_U2hsuW5o this]] in the previous game.

* ATwinkleInTheSky: The human version of Beat Up Combo, where Peashy punches the enemy into Neptune so hard, the enemy and Neptune get launched into the sky.
-->'''Peashy''': Huh? Neptuna flew away too?

-->'''Nepgear''': Ahh! Did you, maybe... look up my skirt? Ugh! You pervert! You're the worst kind of sicko!

[[AbortedArc After this revelation, she claims to spend most of her time messing with people and fangirling over 1st Gen Compa]], only ever mentioning her quest to become the panda again while working.

* PlayableEpilogue: For the good end, you have access to only the last dungeon in the game and is only really helpful for leveling Uni, Ram, and Rom and crafting a few items. The true end lets you do all that, keep all of your characters, and use your scouts to find new post game dungeons, with a few subtle [[SequelHook Sequel Hooks]] thrown in.

* ShoutOut: During one of the Nepstation Segments, the game mentions "A raging treat, Blanc manju". This is quite obviously a reference to the "Rage Manju" (better known as the RageCandyBar in localizations) from Pokemon Gold and Silver and their remakes. The fact that Blanc is the CPU for the SNES (i.e. Nintendo) and Lowee just looks exactly like Ecruteak City from the remakes makes this even more obvious.
