* RandomlyDrops: It's bad enough that well over half the Quests run off of this, but this game manages to take it Up To Eleven with some Quests requiring drops from monsters that don't even begin to spawn until you've gotten a specific Randomly Drops result from Scouting the dungeon. Good luck figuring out which dungeons to Scout for which monsters...
** It Gets Worse: And when you DO finally get the desired Scouting result, you will probably find that the target monster is WAY too powerful for you to beat at your current level... still want to go for that perfect 40 score in the end of chapter evaluation?

* ShoutOut: During one of the Nepstation Segments, the game mentions "A raging treat, Blanc manju". This is quite obviously a reference to the "Rage Manju" (better known as the RageCandyBar in localizations) from Pokemon Gold and Silver and their remakes. The fact that Blanc is the CPU for the SNES (i.e. Nintendo) and Lowee just looks exactly like Ecruteak City from the remakes makes this even more obvious.

The third game in the Neptunia VideoGame/Neptunia series, JRPGs featuring moe anthropomorphisms of the gaming industry in a humorous take on the ConsoleWars.
ConsoleWars, as well as the first sequel in the series, due to the previous game being a ContinuityReboot.

Taking place sometime after the second game, Neptune is kicking back and enjoying the peace from Arfoire's defeat when she finds herself sucked into a portal and awakens in an alternate dimension. This world is a version of Gamindustri set in a time similar to the 1980's, under siege by a group of enemies known as the Seven Sages. Teaming up with this world's [=CPUs=], Neptune must figure out a way to get home and defeat these new enemies.
