You control the titular Haydee, a [[MsFanservice very scantily-clad and buxom]] [[RobotGirl cyborg woman]] making her way through a series of progressively difficult and grueling challenges within an ElaborateUndergroundBase, trying to escape. Along the way, she must contend with various traps, hazards, puzzles, and rogue robots that will mercilessly hunter her down. The game provides no hints, only a handful of supplies that players must carefully manage, and a limited number of opportunities to save their progress as there are no checkpoints. Only your instincts will see your way through Haydee's escape.

A sequel was released in 2020.

to:

A sequel NonLinearSequel, Haydee 2, was released in 2020.
2020. In it you play as a completely different Haydee trapped in a completely different facility. The game follows her as she tries to escape from an abandoned facility overrun with murderous cyborgs and mutants. While the general premise and gameplay is the same, the sequel removes all the platforming elements and tones down the action of the previous game in favor of pure SurvivalHorror.

Added DiffLines:

* ContrastingSequelSetting: The first game took place in a brightly lit, pristine white high-tech facility filled with traps and puzzles that are clearly meant to be a test of some kind and contains almost zero clues as to what it purpose is. This game takes place in a dimly lit office complex that has clearly been abandoned in a hurry with the puzzles being the result of pure happenstance rather than deliberate design and is littered with StoryBreadcrumbs.

Added DiffLines:

* OffscreenMomentOfAwesome: As the revealed in the notes scattered across the game, [=HD512=] made an unsuccessful escape prior to the events of the game, taking down a dozen security bots and causing several explosions before being recaptured.

* InventoryManagementPuzzle: Haydee has 12 item slots (9 on Hardcore) and items only stack to a certain degree, so about halfway into the game you have to start managing your inventory to be able to carry necessary tools, weapons, ammo, and have enough free space to pick up supplies.

* NintendoHard: ''Haydee'' Don't let Haydee's [[MsFanservice appearance]] distract you, the game is '''brutally''' difficult and puts players through an elaborate facility with murderous robots lurking about, hazardous traps, and complex platforming, all while dealing with inventory management, a limited supply of resources, and a limited number of opportunities to save their progress.progress, with heavy reliance [[GuideDangIt on guides if you don't want to figure everything else yourself]]. The achievements also reflect how difficult the game is, with only ''40 percent'' of people completing the ''tutorial'', compared to 90 percent dying. The sequel is slightly easier, but it is still a fairly difficult game.

* DarkerAndEdgier: The game is noticeably bleaker than the first game in a number of ways. The music compared to the calming and subtle (albeit ominous) music in the first game (excluding the Black/Dark Zone and the credits music), is significantly more depressing and hopeless-sounding. All of the other immobile girls that you find in the facility are actually [[spoiler: real people that were kidnapped and turned into sex dolls/cyborg slashers by EvilInc Jurani]], and the Creepers that you fight against throughout the game are [[spoiler: the employees that got affected from entropy that HD512 caused after she causes an explosion that damages Anchor]].

The game offers little in the way of guidance as to where to go or how to find critical tools needed to proceed. TrialAndErrorGameplay is very much expected.expected.
** The "Genocide" achievement requires you to kill every robot you encounter. What this precisely means is that you must be able to kill every robot that appears in every room you enter. There is a particular room in the Green Zone where five enemies are trapped behind an impassable gate. If you ever enter this room, the achievement is voided because these robots are unkillable. You also have to be aware of two Slashers in a trap room and set up mines to kill them without being caught in it. Finally, only one of the endings allows the achievement to be completed.

* NoGearLevel: The Yellow Zone has a no-gun checkpoint that won't allow you to pass it unless your weapons are left behind. The challenge in this area is controlling which doors are open and which are closed so you can explore without releasing the robots. There's a special chute outside the checkpoint that allows you to place two weapons and retrieve them inside the zone.

* TeleportingKeycardSquad: The game will sometimes spawn robots into rooms you've previously cleared if you choose to explore one further ahead. If you have to backtrack, it's a good bet there will be a robot waiting for you on the return trip.

* MutuallyExclusivePowerups: The night visor and gas mask cannot be equipped at the same time, even though their design and function wouldn't suggest the two would conflict with each other.
