*AttackOfThe50FootWhatever: The Guardians, Leiran and Grenn, are a giant gryphon and a giant serpent respectively. During the course of the match they rampage across the map, attacking enemy heroes and eventually striking down the other Guardian so the heroes can move in and attack it.
*BreathWeapon: Grenn can shoot purple flames from his mouth.
*CoolAirship: The heroes arrive on the battleground on one, and re-spawn aboard it whenever they fall in combat.
*EyeBeams: Leiran is capable of shooting lasers from her eyes.
*OurGryphonsAreDifferent: Leiran is a five-story tall gryphon with EyeBeams.
*SchizoTech: The game features robots, modern firearms and jetpacks in an otherwise mostly low-tech fantasy setting.
