By singing all alone, the Corruption questions Boyfriend on who he is waiting for and is commenting how futile it is to keep trying. [[spoiler: Evil Girlfriend's status as a NeutralFemale is subverted since she is the first opponent Boyfriend faces once he is freed from his own corruption. Once Girlfriend is freed from her own corruption, she strategizes with Boyfriend on taking down Evil Pico's Nexus form during "Blood Moon".]]

Boyfriend is the nicest in the group for never holding out grudges and dedicating his life into freeing people out of the Corruption. Even when Daddy Dearest unleashes his full power, he ultimately succumbs to it from his broken resolve of having to face his own wife. [[spoiler: After the defeat of Daddy Dearest, the corruption proves itself to be NotSoInvincibleAfterAll once Boyfriend and Soul Boyfriend are able to break out from their own corruption. Afterwards, Boyfriend is able to successfully free Girlfriend and Pico in their fights.]]

* OrnamentalWeapon: In Week 3, despite Pico holding an Uzi in his hand that can be useful in his fight against Evil Girlfriend and Evil Boyfriend, Pico never bothers trying to shoot them with the weapon. Even in Week 4, Evil Pico still doesn't use his gun to hurt Mommy Mearest and instead only focuses on rapping to corrupt her. [[spoiler: This is averted in Week 10, as Evil Pico succeeds in nearly killing Boyfriend by attempting to shoot his head. Once freed Pico is freed from the Corruption, he actively uses his guns and puts them to good use in fighting the undead Tankmen horde.]]
