''Fishgun'' is a 2023 wide-open arena FirstPersonShooter developed by indie company FISHGUNNERS, serving as the company's debut game.

Set in a chaotic, open-world environment filled with sentient carnivorous fruits, which you have no idea how you end up in, you're armed with the titular weapon, a living gun made from a genetically-modified fish (!) and must shoot your way through hordes and hordes of enemies, ranging from killer grapes and bananas to cherries that behaves like literal cherrybombs.

* AlienSky: For reasons the game doesn't bother explaining, the skies in outdoor levels are rainbow-coloured with swirly patterns for clouds.
* AnthropomorphicFood: All your enemies are sentient, man-eating fruits, including giant strawberries with fangs and grapes that claws at you. Why are they anthropomorphic though? The game doesn't answer.
* BloodlessCarnage: Befitting an FPS where all your enemies are killer fruits, they don't bleed - though they do spill plenty of juice in [[SymbolicBlood a manner reminiscient of blood]] in more conventional games of it's genre.
* ChestBlaster: For some weird reason, the sentient pear enemies have organic blasters that fires green energy bolts built in their chest areas. Firstly the Big Girl giant pear boss, who spams its blasts all over the place, and then the {{degraded|boss}} regular pear enemies.
* {{Cyclops}}: The lemon and grape enemies somehow comes with a single human eye on their body. Some of the grape bunches even explodes into smaller (harmless) bouncing grapes with eyes.
* FantasticFlora: The sentient fruit-life in the game would've been fantastic, if they weren't trying to ''kill'' you.
* HeliCritter: Sentient ''cherries'' can fly using their stalks as helicopter rotors, serving as AirborneMook enemies that drop projectile attacks.
* HomingProjectile: "Swarm" turns your shots into projectiles that zooms in on the nearest enemies. If used in tandem with the "Wider Spread" the fired projectile cluster will turn into a rain of bullets nailing mooks like a hailstorm.
* KillerRabbit: Even in a game with an already ridiculous premise (fighting giant killer fruits?), who'd expect the FinalBoss to be a [[spoiler:giant albino ''strawberry'']]?
* LivingWeapon: The titular weapon is a genetically-modified, sentient fish. Who can shoot projectiles from it's mouth and forehead-cannon.
* MoreDakka: The "Machine Fish" upgrade allows your fishgun to fire on full-auto, and can even be combined with the "Wider Spread" to spam bullets all over enemy fruits.
* MookMaker:
** Plant-pits, which are embedded on the ground and can spew low-level enemies from them. They'll chomp you down if you try jumping in.
** In the first phase of her boss fight, [[spoiler:Strawberry Mommy]] will unleash common plant enemies from her mouth. Damage her enough though and she closes her mouth and switch to spamming fruit missiles.
* NoPlotNoProblem: You're fighting giant mutated fruits in a jungle environment, while armed with a gun made from a mutated fish. Because why not?
* OneBadMother: The game's last and hardest boss? [[spoiler:Strawberry Mommy, a ''building-sized'' strawberry with a face]]. Who can spam all sorts of ranged attacks besides summoning mooks on you.
* PlantMooks: Basically ''all'' your enemies.
* PowerUpLetdown:
** "Slow Bouncing Bullets", a pickup that looks like every other weapon upgrade, but when equipped makes the fishgun shoots... slow and weak bouncy projectiles that barely covers twice your height and ''instantly'' hits the ground. It's useful if you're in platforming areas where your enemies are ''below'' you, but on ground level where enemies are on the same elevation as you it's better to collect a different weapon ASAP.
** Then there's the "Stingray", which fires a straight, powerful bolt that takes a big chunk of health away from bosses, provided if you can ''actually'' hit anything with it. Said upgrade cannot be fired on automatic, and unless you combine it with the "Spread" 60% of your bolts will be hitting walls and thin air.
* ReflectingLaser: The laser upgrade for the Fishgun make your shots reflect and bounce back after hitting targets, allowing you to damage multiple enemies all at once. As an added advantage, the reflected shots doesn't damage you.
* RevivingEnemy: Bananas, whose main attack is firing exploding projectiles from the upper "fruit" part of their bodies. Shooting them will damage the fruit part, but the peel (which is slightly more durable) will regenerate fruits unless it's destroyed as well.
* RollingAttack: "Big Boy", the first boss, is a giant peach whose sole attack is rolling around the arena trying to run over you. After defeating it, {{degraded|boss}} versions of "Big Boy" also have the same rolling tackle ability.
* SlideAttack: You can execute a quick slide in first-person to evade obstacles. That the game ''encourages'' you to do early in-game.

* SpreadShot: "Wider Spread", a power-up you collect in the first stage right before the first boss, allows your fishgun to release multiple bullets in a wide arc.
* WaddlingHead: Lemons (both the boss and mook versions) are depicted as giant fanged heads with a single eye, mouth, and on four stumpy legs that lumbers around trying to chomp you.
