The story involve Nobita struggling to come up with something for his science project until he discover a mysterious spiral seed at the open lot and decide to use it for said project by planting it somewhere in the mountain with the help of Doraemon and invite his friends while at it. Unfortunately, as the tree growed too quickly, it creates a time-rift storm that sucked in the gang alongside the tree itself and banished into a town of Natura somewhere unknown. Worse of all, most of Doraemon's gadgets are lost after that incident and with no apparent way home, Nobita and co. had no other choice but to make a living there for the time being.
