* RuthlessRooftops: The first section of the Megavolt stage occurs across some rooftops. Darkwing Duck fights some Mooks, jumps over spinning turbine roof vents, and powerlines from where Megavolt casts bolts to hit the player. The safest way to cross the stage is by jumping onto the floating green platforms, which allows the player to avoid most of the dangers below.

Everythings Better With Penguins is no longer a trope

* EverythingsBetterWithPenguins: The street has many skateboarding penguins, though they're ultimately bad news as they travel with Tuskerninni and try to kill Darkwing Duck.

* AnvilOnHead: If you stay still for too long, a safe falls on Darkwing, which kills him instantly regardless of any leftover health and costs him a life.

* IdleAnimation: If the player has Darkwing stand in one place, Darkwing will first blink and then grin, then turn to the player and glare. Afterwards, Darkwing looks up towards the top of the screen directly above where he's standing, and looks defeated right before [[AnvilOnHead a safe falls out of the sky and crushes him flat]]. This results in the player losing a life.

A LicensedGame based on ''WesternAnimation/DarkwingDuck'', released by Interactive Designs for the UsefulNotes/TurboGrafx16 in 1992.

A mysterious crime wave has hit the city of St. Canard, and S.H.U.S.H. requires the services of Darkwing Duck to stop it. It appears that F.O.W.L., lead by Steelbeak, is behind it. They have recruited three of Darkwing's foes to assist in building the ultimate crime weapon. Darkwing must subdue each of these criminals in order to find Steelbeak and save the city.

The game is a standard platformer. Darkwing Duck can shoot enemies with his gas gun or jump on them. There are three stages which can be tackled at any order and one that's only available at the end. After each level is completed, puzzles that were collected in it can be re-arranged to show something that'll reveal the F.O.W.L's plans.

Not to be confused with the [[VideoGame/DarkwingDuckInteractiveDesigns version of the game]] on the UsefulNotes/NintendoEntertainmentSystem released by Capcom in the same year.

!!This game provides examples of:
* OneUp: The "D" from the logo appears in stages as an extra life.
* BigBad: In the scope of the game, Steelbeak is the mastermind who united the most powerful criminals in St. Canard.
* EverythingsBetterWithPenguins: The street has many skateboarding penguins, though they're ultimately bad news as they travel with Tuskerninni and try to kill Darkwing Duck.
* EvilKnockoff: F.O.W.L.'s secret weapon turns out to be a giant robotic version of Darkwing Duck.
* FlashOfPain: Darkwing Duck and his enemies flash white upon getting hit. This not necessarily mean they've taken damage, though, as shown when you try shooting the F.O.W.L. soldiers.
* GoombaStomp: Darkwing Duck can jump on certain enemies to kill them. Sometimes it doesn't work, sometimes it's the only way.
* MonaLisaSmile: The puzzle collected turns out to be a painting of a duck Mona Lisa. At least, that's what Darkwing Duck sees from his side.
* RecurringBoss: Bosses appear during stages to attack Darkwing Duck, where they are unkillable. Megavolt hangs on a wire and shoots electricity, Tuskerninni rolls down a street, and Molliarty emerges from the ground to fire a bazooka. At the end of the stage, they appear as proper bosses and can be defeated.
* ScoreScreen: After completing a level, additional points are tallied up from life, health, and ammo.
* VillainExitStageLeft: In the ending, the members of F.O.W.L. try to get away in their helicopter, but it turns out they're out of gas.
