** Volume F leans more into the "ark" naming with both the Ark of Atrahasis and Utnapishtim's Ship, both referencing the ships of other flood myths.

Added DiffLines:

* StopPokingMe: Each student has a different reaction when you pick up their chibis in the Team Formation screen. Reactions range from stoic, smug, surprised, elated, or in the case of students like Serika and Junko, thrashing about and demanding to be put down.
** The [=Live2D=] screens of each student avert this, tapping has them recite their scene dialogue, and only reacting differently to [[AffectionateGestureToTheHead headpats]].

* ShowDontTell: The animated adaptation demonstrates the cast's ImmuneToBullets traits and the commonplaceness of firefights by showing a group of robot delinquents shooting a trio of generic sukeban, who don't show a scratch despite taking direct headshots, followed by them responding with their own guns. Everyone just walks on by [[UnusuallyUninterestingSight as if this were a regular occurance]].

* LuckBasedMission: In terms of getting top scores to get higher ranks, both Total and Grand Assault are heavily prone to "Crit Malding" strategies, which essentially boils down to building a team that maximizes critical hit damage in order to defeat the boss as fast as possible. However, this often requires players to score multiple critical hits on the boss in a row, which obviously requires perfect RNG. Naturally, it can take players hundreds of retries and hours of playtime to get that perfect crit run, if it even happens at all.

However, unlike the other two which has ways to be used more effectively (Hoshino can be used as tankand has effective buff range and duration, and Kayoko has cost of 2 to buff 2 mystic students faster), she suffers from having a cost of 4 as well as her EX skill forcing students to move onto her to get the buff. She also suffers from being left out on most teams due to mechanics of raids that need to follow and requires her slot to be replaced. Even with that, she is still a good buffer for raids that need her slot.

It's hinted that Kivotos is roughly the size of the United States and Canada combined.
* CityOfEverywhere: While its general aesthetic is that of a modern Japanese city, several elements from other cities of the world exist in Kivotos. Buildings in Trinity's region take on the architecture of early-modern Europe, and the Elizabeth Tower is visible from the campus; the area governed by Hyakkiyako looks like a traditional Japanese city; and one background even features New York's One World Trade Center. This extends to the climate and environment as well: Red Winter's wintry climate mimics that of Russia, while Egypt-themed Abydos is a sea of desert.
