''BRAHMA Force: The Assault On Beltlogger 9'' (simply known as ''Beltlogger 9'' in Japan and ''BRAHMA FORCE'' in Europe) is a mecha action game developed by Creator/{{Genki}} and published bu Creator/{{Jaleco}} in 1996, and a follow-up to the ''VideoGame/{{Kileak}}'' duology (despite being set in a different universe).

In 2096, when a robot uprising occurred on the Space Station, ''Beltlogger 9'', severing all communications with the planet's surface, a search and rescue unit - whose member includes ''you'', the player - is swiftly deployed to investigate. Clad in a powerful, state-of-the-art mecha suit, the '''[[FunWithAcronyms Bipedal Robotic Assault Heavy Mechanized Armor]]''', or BRAHMA unit, you attempt uncovering the truth behind the malfunction.

* AirVentPassageway: You'll pilot the BRAHMA to maneuvre through some vents in one level. It's dark, but the BRAHMA has a handy [[NightVisionGoggles night-vision filter]].
* AttackDrone: One of the most common, mook-level enemies, hovering robot probes who tries taking potshots at the BRAHMA with their turrets.
* CriticalAnnoyance: The game's announcer will constantly nag at you if your BRAHMA's armor reaches critical level.

* CutAndPasteEnvironments: The entirety of Beltlogger 9's interiors looks... drab. With every single corridor, maintenance room, shafts and the like looking the same. Probably justified however because it's a mining facility whose insides shouldn't look too colourful.
* CyberCyclops: It's not visible during gameplay because of the First-Person POV, but cutscenes reveals the BRAHMA robots as having a sole green eye for it's face.
* EnemyDetectingRadar: Being a mecha, the BRAHMA have one displayed on the screen's upper-left that locates enemies.
* FunWithAcronyms: You pilot a mecha called the '''B'''ipedal '''R'''obotic '''A'''ssault '''H'''eavy '''M'''echanized '''A'''rmor, or BRAHMA. [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brahma Named after a Hindu deity, no less]].
* GrenadeLauncher: BRAHMA have one of these, that was unfortunately damaged in the opening FMV. If repaired, after collecting extra grenades BRAHMA can use them to frag enemies.
* HaveANiceDeath: Lose all your health or get damaged beyond repair, and you receive a cutscene of the BRAHMA breaking down and collapsing ''slowly'', before exploding bit-by-bit with you in it's center. And a ''blasing ''GAME OVER'' in caps filling the screen.
* HeadsUpDisplay: The entire gameplay screen is seen from the BRAHMA's built-in HUD, justifying the usual ammunition, radar, equipment, health meter, and FPS-style displays in-game.
* KingMook: The FinalBoss is a sized-up, humongous version of the recurring drone enemies, around a dozen times larger and far more durable than it's mook counterpart.
* LighterAndSofter: The game is this compared to the ''Kileak'' duology, where instead of a doomed planet earth after an apocalypse it's set on a space station where enemies are mostly robots.
* NoGearLevel: BRAHMA Force's doomed infiltration attempt, as detailed in the opening FMV, sees the entire unit decimated to just one, that being the player character. Who even lose part of his suit's arm from stray gunfire, leading to the player's BRAHMA unit spending the first few stages with a dinky, weak machine-gun and searching Beltlogger 9 for supplies and repairs.
* NoOSHACompliance: Beltlogger 9's interior facilities have some of the ''worst'' safety features ever displayed in any sci-fi media, from hovering corridors a mile in mid-air without railings or forcefields, to moving platforms and fast-moving elevators ''without'' walls. Possibly justified since the station is meant to be mostly automated.
* {{Overheating}}: The BRAHMA's default machine-guns runs on BottomlessMagazines that can fire full-auto, but is prone to overheating causing it to jam. When the "OVERHEATING" alert appears onscreen (in red text) you'll need to stop firing for a while or it clogs.
* PlatformHell: Several areas in the hangar's higher levels contains platforming elements, where you'll need to jump to access the next area owing to your BRAHMA's jet thrusters being damaged in the opening scene.
* {{Redshirt}}: In the opening FMV that depicts the BRAHMA units attempting to infiltrate Beltlogger 9, all the [=BRAHMAs=] except the player character's were swiftly slaughtered by turrets and drones guarding the Beltlogger's exteriors.
* SpaceStation: Beltlogger 9, where the entire game takes place, is a floating space colony, complete with labyrinth-like tunnels and multiple massive hangars.
* SpiderTank: One of the bosses is a gigantic spider-mech, taking up most of the hangar it's fought in. It appears to be a CallBack to Hydra-Taran from the ''Kileak'' games.
