''Armillo'' is a 3D PuzzlePlatformer developed by Fuzzy Wuzzy Games for the UsefulNotes/WiiU, released in 2014.

Armillo is a round, space-traveling armadillo whose home galaxy has been invaded by the villainous Darkbots. As the robots begin capturing the friendly blue critters who inhabit the worlds and even kidnap Armillo's own brother, he must roll his way through each of the puzzle-packed planets to rescue them and restore peace.

Each of the game's main levels, distributed across five different solar systems, is a small spherical planet filled with various enemies and obstacles, which Armillo must traverse by using his RollingAttack and various acquirable power-ups, while rescuing any critters he finds along the way. In addition to the main levels, the game has a series of special levels--each unlocked by finding an item in the corresponding main level--in which the gameplay changes to 2D platforming, with the added challenge of a time limit. Each level also contains many blue orbs, a [[GottaCatchThemAll collectable item]] that can be exchanged at the critters' shop for upgrades such as extra lives or hearts.

In 2020, [[https://store.steampowered.com/app/349520/Armillo/ a port for PC was made available for free]] on UsefulNotes/{{Steam}}.

Not to be confused with ''VideoGame/{{Armello}}''.

----

!!''Armillo'' contains examples of:

* BonusStage: Each main level is a planet, and after completing it, Armillo is taken to a moon that serves as its Bonus Stage. Moons have many orbs for the player to collect within a time limit, which is determined by how many critters Armillo rescued in the stage.
* DarkWorld: Portals to a parallel world are located in various places in each level and must be entered to solve some puzzles. This version of the world is covered in purple fog and Armillo can only survive in it for a limited amount of time, forcing the player to complete these puzzles quickly.
* GottaCatchThemAll: Each level has many critters and orbs for the player to collect. Orbs can be exchanged for upgrades at the shop, while collecting critters is necessary to open some paths and increases how much time the player has for the moon section at the end of the level.
* HeartsAreHealth: Armillo's hitpoints are represented by hearts. He starts out with two on normal difficulty and three on easy.
* RollingAttack: Armillo's primary method of breaking obstacles is rolling into them.
