* ZergRush: Multi and Ma-ryan have specials that summon a rush of robot maids and schoolgirls respectively.

* ZettaiRyouiki: At least 1/3 of the female cast, especially the playables.

* DifficultySpike: Your encounter with Multi will probably the first time you'll have any trouble. You'll hit a ''much'' bigger spike when you reach [[spoiler: Ma-ryan]] or [[spoiler: Chizuru]].

* KiAttacks: One of Octavia's assist attacks has her fire a large and flashy energy sphere.

And there's also characters, such as Serika, Yuki, or Mizuki, who were fully playable in [=QoH=], but were [[DemotedToExtra demoted]] to {{Assist character}}s, and thus, have very limited moves.

* DemotedToExtra: Some of the support characters who appeared as playables in ''VideoGame/TheQueenOfHeart'', namely Serika, Yuki, Rina, Mizuki and Yu.

** ''Manaka'' embodies this in every essence of the word. She has no run button, her dash is an awkward hop of one foot, and her backdash rapidly decreases her emotion to fight. However, mix in her long range, multi-hitting projectiles, effective normals, and fierce Climax Super and you can easily win over those who underestimate her.

* LethalJokeCharacter: Manaka is a [[{{Dojikko}} clumsy]] BookWorm, but those dropped books are ''deadly'' if used correctly.

* AdaptationalBadass: The characters from ''VisualNovel/ToHeart'' and ''VisualNovel/ToHeart2'' can now throw down like ever before: Multi fights with a mop, Konomi is an agile fighter with several food-themed attacks, Tamaki with powerful grappling moves, and Manaka throws books in battle. Assists characters Serika and Yuma can also cause a lot of damage if given the chance.

* ImprobableWeaponUser: Multi uses a mop, Yuma uses her ''bicycle'', and Manaka [[ThrowTheBookAtThem throws books]].

* ThrowTheBookAtThem: Manaka fights with books, whether by throwing them, or hitting directly; and one of her supers has her dropping a row of bookcases on her opponent.
