It is currently scheduled for a much cruder, explosive, and action-packed spin on what those games did.
November 12, 2024 release.

The basic structure is similar to ''VideoGame/WarioLand4'' -- get to the end of the level then arm an explosive and make a mad dash to escape from the level before it goes boom. Anton is equipped with a variety of demolition-themed moves, including a "clutch" hammer dash and a devastating hammer bounce, both of which he'll need to annhilate the massive variety of obstacles in his way -- anything from knocking out small girders to leveling entire buildings. The game also features the ability to jump between the foreground and background (taking a page out of ''VideoGame/VirtualBoyWarioLand''). All of this is tied together with level design that allows one to make a beeline towards the end or take your time exploring for extra collectables.

The game is currently under development for Steam and UsefulNotes/NintendoSwitch, with a [[https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/summitsphere/antonblast?ref=9jdki5&token=4db22049 Kickstarter campaign]] underway and a November 12th, 2024 release date.
