It's [[TheSixties 1962]], and 17 years have passed since World War II. In 1953, Joseph Stalin died, and the struggle for power had disastrous consequences for the Soviet Union, which, after a failed communist coup, finally lost to the new management of former NKVD officials. After the departure of President Meshik, power was transferred to Alexander Pokryshkin, who strengthens the positions of oligarchs and corporations, including creating a new, modernized army of the Russian Federation. The Soviet bloc collapsed, most of Moscow's satellites turned to NATO to avoid being absorbed back into the Soviet sphere of influence.
