You can now play as Finn, Jake, Marceline, Cinnamon Bun, Lumpy Space Princess, Ice King, Flame Princess, The Earl of Lemongrab, Peppermint Butler and the King of Mars (the last three via DLC). The plot this time out has Bubblegum calling the selected character to go explore a dungeon beneath Ooo as prisoners have somehow been escaping from it when it's supposed to be inescapable. So she sends you down there to check it out because, in her own words, "I don't know."

dewicking disambiguated trope

* FakeBalance: Marceline seems to be this. She has the lowest starting HP and attack power, can't block any physical attacks, and doesn't gain Imagination by hitting enemies, but by eating red food items or absorbing red projectiles. On the flip side, her charge attack charges the fastest, her Imagination move is the only one of the starting four characters that always does damage, she can move while absorbing projectiles, and oh yeah, ''most of the enemies'' in the game fire red projectiles, making it perfectly feasible to just float around dodging physical attacks to power up her Imagination attack. Flame Princess gets hit with the other end of the stick; in the cartoon, she's one of the most powerful characters in the world. In the game, she only has one token slot, which greatly limits her effectiveness.
