I am attempting to ascend a couple of deities into the [[Pantheon/TropePantheons TV Tropes Pantheon]], where in the General Staff, I'm Adjutant to the Chief. [[Sandbox/{{Nightelf37}} They can be found here.]] And in the Order of the Pantheon, I'm an officer.

Inevitably, the Magical Girl Raising Project social game (supposedly defunct after Fav's death) showed up on her phone by way of a disguised Keek giving one to her and convincing her father it was okay. Still naïve in the ways of phone safety, she opened it, found it with someone else's account, and thought nothing of it as she played it, already getting familiar with the UI, and made the current avatar more modest, unable to change its form, only its look. And then, one night alone, the app (with Fal instead of Fav) told her she was chosen to become a real Magical Girl, and promptly transformed her into the MG on the app before pulling her into the game designed by Keek; she particularly wanted to see if a newcomer born from a participant of one of Cranberry's Killing Games can grow into the ideal Magical Girl.

* It's a well-known fact that the ''Shin Megami Tensei'' games have [[AlignmentBasedEndings multiple endings based on the]] PlayerCharacter[[AlignmentBasedEndings 's alignment]]: Law, Chaos, or Neutral. But out of all of the Great Will's Messiahs, who should represent that aspect? [[VideoGame/ShinMegamiTenseiI The First Hero]] wouldn't do since [[CuttingOffTheBranches one of his paths becomes canon]]. The Second One, [[VideoGame/ShinMegamiTenseiII Aleph]], seem to have all his endings lead to the same conclusion, and his outcomes aren't widely varied. The Third, [[VideoGame/ShinMegamiTenseiIIINocturne the Demi-Fiend]], is fated to return under the trope FaustianRebellion or KingmakerScenario. The Fourth, [[VideoGame/ShinMegamiTenseiIV Flynn]], is already in the Pantheon representing SamuraiPonytail. And there are other fates in store for [[VideoGame/ShinMegamiTenseiIVApocalypse Nanashi]] and [[VideoGame/ShinMegamiTenseiV the Nahobino]], who don't fit the trope as neatly anyway. That was when an answer was found.
* The protagonist of ''VideoGame/ShinMegamiTenseiStrangeJourney'', to be addressed by his Drama CD name Tadano Hitonari, was a Japanese ([[RaceLift or American]]) soldier of Earth during a present-day time period when the Schwarzwelt appeared in Antarctica. The United Nations assembled a quartet of teams comprised of the brightest minds, most talented soldiers (Hitonari among them), and the most advanced technology they had available. Their mission: enter and explore the interior of the Schwarzwelt, and find a way to stop it before the entire world is consumed. Of course, things aren't as simple as that. Their foes proved far more dangerous than it seemed, the Schwarzwelt's reason for existing proved more complicated than it seemed, and the demons proved invisible to the naked eye before a MysteriousBenefactor granted them the Demon Summoning Program for a fighting chance. Humanity would be tested as they explored the Schwarzwelt, and circumstances led to Hitonari being in the lead and ultimately deciding the fate of his kind.
* Due to the nature of his trope, ''all'' of his versions were required to ascend. That not only meant the Neutral, Law, and Chaos versions, but their New versions too, leading to a total of six. Upon hearing who was planned for ascension, YHVH was quick to bring forth the versions fitting His own path while Cosmos (with anonymous aid from Lucifer) helped ascend the rest. In terms of residences, to minimize clashes with one another, their temples take the form of five ''Red Sprite''s, the hover-capable landships that the Schwarzwelt Investigational Team used to explore the demon realms, but modified and miniaturized to enable reasonable solo travel with it. Why five when there are six Hitonaris? The two Neutral Hitonaris share a "temple" because they share the same ideals; there's no point in separating them. While the other New Hitonaris are also good people, they have their separate agendas that can take them to different places in the Pantheon.
* However, due to clerical issues, there was a purge that removed most of the Pantheon/ShinMegamiTensei representatives. And most of the ''Strange Journey'' reps were among them. But when the move to bring Hitonari back came, the Grand United Alliances of Law and Chaos separately wanted Zelenin and Jimenez back. Upon realizing what exactly the trope meant, the GUAG in response decided to have the non-Hitonari Neutral representative of the alignment, Commander Gore, be included in this new group ascension as well. The Court approved of this, and just like with Hitonari, on top of the Zelenin and Jimenez that first came to the Pantheon, one other version of each arrived as well, representing two of the New Endings. As for Gore however, only one of him made it to the Pantheon, as there is little differing opinion he would have between the two Neutral Endings. And so the Zelenins, Jimenez-es, and Gore were transfered to each different ''Red Sprite'', joining each Hitonari that they've swayed (or who had swayed them in the case of the New Path Hitonaris).
* In case a refresher is needed:
** A scientist sent to investigate the Schwarzwelt and keep it from wiping out humanity, Zelenin was captured and tortured by demons, giving her an intense hatred of them. During her journey through the parallel world, Zelenin's opinion of humanity was eroded away by the sight of their sins, and she gained a new appreciation for the order and nobility of the angels. It came to a head when she was offered divine power by the angel Mastema: becoming an angel, the resulting new entity quickly lost herself to the power of the heavens and fell in with the angels. Zelenin continues to work with YHVH to power herself up enough to spread her song through the pantheon, wipe it clean of free will and bring a new age of Law. But just like Hitonari, there are two versions of her; one that stays her current path, and one whose mind is changed after [[spoiler:Alex came from the former's future and pleaded for her to bring ''salvation'' to humanity]].
** A soldier sent to investigate the Schwarzwelt and keep it from wiping out humanity, Jimenez ran across an abused demon named Bugaboo, who he adopted. During his journey through the parallel world, Jimenez's opinion of humanity was eroded away by the sight of their sins, and he gained a new appreciation for the wildness and freedom of the demons. It came to a head when he and Bugaboo were forced by the cruel Captain Jack into a twisted experiment: to save both his and Bugaboo's life, Jimenez had a comrade fuse the two of them together, and the resulting new entity quickly lost himself to his new power and fell in with the demons. Jimenez continues to work with Mem Aleph to awaken the Schwarzwelt, wipe the Pantheon clean of civilization and bring a new age of Chaos. But just like Hitonari, there are two versions of him; one that stays him current path, and one where he realizes [[spoiler:the hypocrisy of his goal after Alex points out what he did for Bugaboo]].
** As for Gore, he was the Commander in charge of the Schwarzwelt Investigational Team. When he was killed in action, his last command was to transfer his duties to Hitonari. He would later come back to life as a "Ubergestalt" thanks to the energies of the Schwarzwelt and Mother Maia to serve as a herald for her, Mem Aleph, and the other Mothers. His experiences however have only reinforced his faith in humanity, essentially making him the representative for the Neutral Path. There, close to the final stretch of this strange journey, he eventually judges Hitonari where he stands; humanity, angels, or demons. If Hitonari chooses any of the latter two, or is already deeply aligned into either of those, Gore will regard him as a danger to humanity [[ClimaxBoss and fight him to the death]]. Following his end, Arthur self-terminates, the Red Sprite is left in a state of disrepair, and Jimemez or Zelenin (depending on Hitonari's alignment) storm the Red Sprite and work their brainwashing mojo. If Hitonari proves pro-humanity, Gore tasks him with the final mission of destroying Mem Aleph, and gives him the "brilliance" to see Mem Aleph in her true form, and provides information to Arthur on how to destroy the Schwarzwelt before fading away from existence. Unlike everyone else before him, only one iteration of Gore exists.

** Despite whatever blessings they've received (if they still retain them), all versions of Hitonari [[FightsLikeANormal still fight as they did before]]; with swords, guns, and summoned demons. Being of differing alignments, there is naturally opposition among themselves, though mainly from the Law and Chaos Hitonaris, even against their New counterparts. Even New Chaos and New Law have their disagreements. It's a good thing their temples are separate. In case you're wondering how Hitonari can either be Japanese or American? Well, he's half of both ethnicities. By contrast, Gore, Zelenin, and Jimenez have since discarded their [=DEMONICAs=] and embraced their new powers. Out of them, only Gore didn't cast away his faith in humanity (and the other Zelenin and Jimenez regained it thanks to Alex and Hitonari).
*** It was a surprise to discover that the DEMONICA was in the Pantheon's Treasury. Now that there are six more suits, a change of policy has been in consideration in regards to requisitioning and reverse-engineering it. Thus this gave the Grand United Alliances of Good, Law, and Chaos a head start in research. The [=GUAs=] of Evil and Destruction, as well as the various Uprisings are now dedicated to capturing the Hitonaris in order to requisition their [=DEMONICAs=] for themselves. Other independent forces not among the above who have interest in the suits are trying the same. While they're not exactly on their old mission anymore, the Hitonaris' expedition in the Schwarzwelt has conditioned them to pick up everything in sight that doesn't have a clear owner (and perhaps beat up the owner if there is and if they think it can benefit them more). The good Hitonaris do their best to use their manners, though.
** Besides those who desire total annihilation of all life, given their interactions with [[spoiler:Jack's Squad]], there's one thing all Hitonaris share their despisal for; all {{Private Military Contractor}}s and {{Mad Scientist}}s, especially if they [[CompleteMonster lack any sort of morals]]. And in the case of Law, Chaos, and (to a lesser extent) New Law Hitonaris, the alignment of these mercenaries or doctors doesn't matter to them; they all must die horribly. As for the others, it just means they're really slow to trust the less malevolent ones like [[Pantheon/JusticeBringers Raiden]] and [[Pantheon/TechnologicalExperts Agatha Heterodyne]]. Since there are multiple Hitonaris, all of them would naturally be aware of Funny Valentine because of his Stand's ability to [[NeverTheSelvesShallMeet easily obliterate them]] if they are not careful. The only one who doesn't quite have to worry about that tidbit is Law Hitonari due to the president's affiliations with the GUAL.
** No matter their standing, no matter what morals they support, Zamasu has deemed every single one of them enemies by the sole virtue of having been born as mortal humans ([[{{Hypocrite}} despite being part mortal himself]]). It doesn't matter if they have shed it or not, or have turned their backs on them as "Old" Law and "Old" Chaos Hitonari, Zelenin, and Jimenez have done. Law Zelenin in particular finds this disappointing since the two do share a desire for a WorldOfSilence and their hatred for humanity, and the fact that Zamasu also wants to wipe out all gods except for himself (which include YHVH and His Angels under that umbrella).


* Exclusive to the Neutral paths:
** New Neutral Hitonari told the "Old" Neutral Hitonari about the latter's future [[spoiler:and its eventual doom via another Schwarzwelt]]. Neutral Hitonari almost lost his faith [[spoiler:since humanity learned nothing and repeated their mistakes to end this way]], and Commander Gore just barely avoided suffering the same fate. However, [[Pantheon/HeroicOutlooks Makoto Naegi]] was able to [[RestoredMyFaithInHumanity restore his faith in humanity]]. New Neutral Hitonari was unable to help in this case as he inadvertently [[spoiler:serves as an example of the fruitlessness of his struggle since his world's humanity is relying on another higher being for their safety and has been doing so for 150 years before his ascension to the Pantheon]].
** Due to his [[spoiler:never-ending crusade against the Schwarzwelt]], being a soldier heading off into another dimension, being completely and totally human and facing off against monsters that are more or less the stuff of nightmares, it was natural that Doomguy would be a steadfast ally of New Neutral Hitonari (and the older one, too) and Commander Gore. They even go hunting demons together on occasion, though Hitonari has to avoid summoning his own lest Doomguy commit FriendlyFire on it, and most of the summoned that wouldn't draw his attention are usually [[HorrifyingTheHorror unable to stomach the carnage]].
** With their new situation in the Pantheon, as well as everything it has to offer, the Arthur that came with New Neutral Hitonari decided it would be best to share resources with the GUAG after deducing Cosmos' intentions. There was a little bit of hesitation on this since they heard of [[VideoGame/DevilSurvivor the Lockdown Kazuya Minegishi and his friends experienced]], the Demon Summoning everybody got, [[{{Deconstruction}} and the chaos that ensued]]. However, given the technological state of the Pantheon and all of its residents, this worry was mostly unfounded.
** On occasion, New Neutral Hitonari goes to the moon to relax, [[spoiler:just as he's done for the past 150 years after becoming immortal]]. On occasion, he gets fellow visitors who sit with him, and he wouldn't mind their presence (even if it was someone like [[Pantheon/DarknessAndShadow Nightmare Moon]]) as long as he isn't messed with.

** Law Zelenin (and Law Hitonari) get along swimmingly with Malthael: both realize TheEvilsOfFreeWill, and the abilities of the two work together very well: death is ultimately an escape from Zelenin's brainwashing, and Malthael has that covered by bringing the deceased back as mindless thralls so that they can continue their worship. With the two of them working in concert, ''[[FateWorseThanDeath there is no escape from the light of The Lord]]''. [[TooDumbToLive Frollo once tried to hit on Zelenin]], enraptured as he was by the sight of her angelic beauty, and she nailed him with a [[ShockAndAwe Megido Storm]] for his trouble. He then tried again with Law Zelenin, and met the exact same fate of death... from New Law Hitonari.
** Law Zelenin's song has the power to erase all emotion from those hit by it, leaving them empty shells mindlessly babbling praises to The Lord. It's roundly considered by others to be a FateWorseThanDeath: her ultimate plan is to subject all of creation to it, erasing free will from the fabric of reality and leaving only deference to God. As for New Law Zelenin, she would rather just eliminates the emotion of human spite, removing the impulse for humans to be cruel to each other for no reason, leaving free will intact. Nautrally, both of them and their corresponding ally Hitonaris are at odds with one another in regards to how far one needs to go to quell chaos. New Law Zelenin has tried telling her "past" counterpart that [[spoiler:their song won't bring about the WoldOfSilence desired by YHVH, that half of humanity is naturally resistant to its effects, and their utopia would result in genocide]]. But as with all {{knight templar}}s, neither Zelenin is willin to budge in their worldviews
** Law Zelenin looks down on benevolent creator deities like Aslan and The Love That Moves The Stars: on top of being 'false gods' as she puts it, they put far too much stock in 'humanity's inherent virtue', [[HumansAreBastards whatever the heck that is]]: humans have no virtue to speak of as far as Zelenin is concerned. Once she finds the proper pitch and timbre for her song to enthrall even them, she'll prove that only the absolute control of YHVH can bring peace to the world. Should that fail, she will do her duty as a soldier of God and (attempt to) destroy them. Naturally, New Law Zelenin is willing to defend these two gods, and while the Love That Moves The Stars approves of her newfound method of her song, Aslan is disappointed in her removing humanity's will to grow and rise up.
** New Law Hitonari is admired by several deities who abhor violence and are idealistic enough to think that his world would be absolutely perfect. Among these is Peaceful!Markus, as he too prefers non-violence and advocates peaceful existence for his fellow androids.

** As those who embrace the use of demons and heavily oppose the forces of Law, both Chaos Hitonaris have looked to adding more allies to their cause from the Hall of Demons, and other demons. (Old) Chaos Hitonari sought those who valued strength above all else, while New Chaos Hitonari prefered those who valued the right of freedom. The latter was hard-pressed to find allies than the former, but allies he did manage to find, mainly in the form of Sparda (despite his worldview, his son Vergil ), and the Aensland sisters.

** Chaos Jimenez's alliance with Wesker has turned heads, particularly as he was the subject of the sort of mad science Wesker is known for. Honestly, Jimenez couldn't care less, so long as Wesker doesn't screw with any demons. Heck, trying to uplift humanity to survive in a wild, chaotic world is a noble cause in Jimenez's eyes. To this end, he's given Wesker a sample of the [[HatePlague Delphinus Parasite]]. New Chaos Jimenez on the other hand isn't exactly opposed to the idea... as long as humanity is allowed to choose whether or not they accept this gift. But he suspects Wesker is more of the type to force his choice, so he's not friends with the mutated MadScientist.
** Despite his inhumanity, there's a flicker of Jimenez's old self in him: he's perfectly capable of showing kindness and camaraderie to those he deems worthy. An example of this is Luka: he admires the kid for overthrowing Ilias for the sake of monsters. While (Old) Chaos Jimenez has surrendered himself to his demonic instincts despite this respect, New Chaos Jimenez also sees Luka as an ally for the same reasons as his counterpart. And they don't actually hate each other as much as they thought they would unlike the Zelenins, since they and the Chaos Hitonaris both respect each other's strength and their displeasure for angels.
** New Chaos Jimenez eventually convinced his counterpart by pointing out the hypocrisy in his "survival of the fittest" creed when he took in Bugaboo, and that he couldn't have survived without Bugaboo sacrificing himself to save him. Unlike with Zelenin, (Old) Chaos Jimenez was successfully convinced and has started to regard his New counterpart's path of freedom over the path of strength as something to his liking. (Old) Chaos Hitonari was similarly convinced by New Chaos Hitonari through [[MightMakesRight the old fashioned way]].

They intend, for the most part, to mass produce and use them against any and all potential enemies, all of them having been impressed by the suit's aforementioned combat capabilities. Likewise, the God-Emperor of Mankind wants to make the gold variant standard issue armor for the Imperial Guard, seeing it as the ultimate weapon against Warp incursions (an armor that allows baseline humans to go toe to toe with {{Physical God}}s and enables them to gain control over demons seems like a dream come true) though he wants to see if he can't tweak it so it comes with a gold undersuit too. And maybe add a few skulls for good measure.
** Interestingly, there one demon who managed to acquire a personalized variant of the gold and green version. Said demon, one Jack Frost, has been training under [[Pantheon/{{War}} Sergeant Hartmann]]. This particular one is different in that he actually ''passed'' and ''survived'' the Drill Sergeant's TrainingFromHell. When he finally earned the right to wear the DEMONICA, he became known from then on as Demonee-Ho, and quickly gained a reputation for his 100% success rate during operations in the field.

While the former already have the pretty impressive PCV in their arsenal, the DEMONICA's even more advanced capabilities might just give them the edge they need to fight more powerful aliens and monsters that litter the Pantheon. And while their Agents already use E.G.O. for combat, Lobotomy Corporation is also intrigued with the Demon Summoning Program, at least.

These hard times eventually came, and the lottery was organized by the Civilized, the governing body at the time. Years passed, and it soon became apparent that favorites were being spared by the Civilized. And it finally reached a breaking point when one rich mouse, Arroyo Bellafide, found his son on the menu and feasted on.
** In response, he formed the '''Longcoats''', and advocated that food-selection be determined by an animal's merit. Another faction rose as well; the '''Commonfolk''' rallied by Hopper, who believes that every animal should have the right to vote for who becomes food. But there was also the '''KSR''' led by the Quartermaster, who's doing everything she can to maintain order no matter what, not to mention the '''Civilized''', commanded by the Missionary Archimedes, who wish to retain the status quo. The war fought was long and grueling, with sides changing, and eventually devolving into a free-for-all, [[spoiler:ending with the Pigs rising up from the shadows once everyone is weakened and eliminating all who remained]].
* When the four leaders came to, they found themselves before the Court of the Gods, the memories of their final showdown [[spoiler:and the Boris uprising that wiped them all out ([[WhatHappenedToTheMouse though whether or not they were slain as well is up in the air]])]] fresh in their minds. However, it is not forgotten that Archimedes had sparked the final battle when he destroyed Snikaree [[spoiler:where the other three factions had managed a peaceful nation of cooperation there, with Longcoats as traders, Commonfolk as suppliers, and KSR as the government]], and Bellafide would '''''never''''' side with him for any reason due to his following sacrificing his son for harvest. That is why the Civilized high priest stands apart from the others, while Bellafide, Hopper, and the Quartermaster are on friendly terms with each other for the most part.

As for the Left Hand of the Civilized, the GUAC was more his speed. Given their [[AscendedToCarnivorism taste for meat]] and their utter disdain for anything else (fish, vegetables, grain, etc., unless perhaps as appetizers or flavoring), getting them to broaden their horizons in terms of cuisine is slow progress, and much moreso for Archimedes given his faith, and they tend to frequent the Hall of Pantheon/FleshEaters where they reside because of this, and occasionally take trips to the House of Pantheon/{{Slaughter}} as well. In fact, [[FauxHorrific it's apparently so incredibly detestable that everyone would rather kill and eat each other than go vegetarian for a while]]. Additionally, because of the war they fought, their forces have a tendency to carry back all manner of corpses for feasting on later despite what other things these might carry. Thankfully, they've learned to avoid the following corpses:

On top of this list is Napoleon of Manor/Animal Farm, who loathes them in turn due to their willingness to eat other animals, and the fact that his forces currently are no match for even one of their factions. Having ascended to excusively carnivorism, and therefore making them predators, Dawn Bellwether fears and despises them as well. This doesn't earn them favors with Zootopia cops Judy and Nick, though, who are disgusted even towards Bellafide and Hopper (though for different reasons than Archimedes and the Quartermaster).
** The entire Hall of Pantheon/RabbitsAndRodents don't hold them in high regard either. While most of the non-evil aligned residents dislike the Vyeshal-speaking rodents out of principle, General Woundwort considers them a threat to his warren. Despite being willing to be very dangerous prey, [[EvenEvilHasStandards not even he would advocate meat-eating]], and he's well aware that his forces lack the resources to deal with any of their armies. Unlike Napoleon, because he's a rodent just like them, he's actually also envious of their political power, though he looks down on the lower class Hopper the most.
** That isn't to say they were without allies. Mr. Fox for one is a friendly enough visitor, and expressed no comments whatsoever on their diets. That said, it's a matter of ideologies that landed him in hot water with two of them, mainly the order-keeping Quartermaster, and the crazy cultist Archimedes. They hold no issues with [[Pantheon/FleshEaters Kazar]] desiring to be a meat eater; it's only when he made an attempt on any of them (the chances of which are low given his obsession with lions mad greater predators) that they clash. And even one of their armies is too much for one wildebeest.
** Despite living in a similar world where sapient beings eat other sapient beings, or ''perhaps'' because of that, Todd Chavez dislikes the quartet. Seeing them reminded him of [[Recap/BojackHorsemanS2E05Chickens the one time he and Diane tried to rescue a sapient chicken]], but only managed to do so with just one. Of course, without a means to actually fight them, Todd just settles with staying away from them.

** As a believer in the values of Social Merit, when he heard that he advocvates the same thing (minus the whole eating the unworthy part), he supports [[VideoGame/DevilSurvivor2 Yamato Hotsuin's]] visions of meritocracy. * When it comes to video games, a few of them are made specifically to demonstrate the software and hardware that runs them. The role of the video game ''Knack'' is to demonstrate the ability of the UsefulNotes/PlayStation4 to handle a large number of discrete objects on screen. ''Knack'' does this by its main character also named Knack, who is comprised of several independently rendered objects reaching up to the ''hundreds'' depending on his current size. Which makes him quite literally a tech demonstration of the PS4's capabilities. But we're getting ahead of ourselves; let's go over who exactly our protagonist is.
* Knack is the creation of Doctor Vargas, made from Relics native to their world, dug up from underground, and serve as power sources for civilization, being perpetual sources of energy. Vargas had spent decades learning the secrets of the Relics, [[spoiler:he and his wife Charlotte found the core that is basically Knack's soul before she was seemingly lost in an earthquake]], and how to bring them to consciousness: Knack is the result of this, and has proven to be completely sentient. A few Relics make him a small being of 2' 6", but with several more his size can change, from human size all the way to 32 feet tall. While Relics are necessary to his very being, Knack can actually integrate other materials as well such as wood, ice, scrap metal, and gemstones, but never to replace them entirely, and never more than one extra material type at a time. He can also absorb power from sunstones, then unleash it as a shockwave, unleash his parts as a tornado, or blast a bunch of Relics as a sphere of destruction before calling them back to him (only when he's not his default small size). And he can release his hold of these relics at will and call them back the same way (no matter how far they are, though distance is a factor) to alter his size for any situation.
** Don't mistake his being a collection of floating Relics for being frail or light, though. He's not only strong (enough to take on robots when he's at his maximum size that are still bigger than him), but deceptively fast too, no matter his current size, and can even jump [[DoubleJump up to three times in a row in the air]]. And he can somehow actually ''hold himself together'' enough to deliver strong punches, pull levers and stuff, endure tough blows, climb and carry, zipline, accidentally chip an overpass he was too tall for at the time, basically anything a fully solid humanoid of his size(s) can do. At least for clear crystals, he can even transfer his consciousness from his Relics to those crystals, but it gives him a sleepwalking feeling, and it's inadvisable for him to stay away from his core for too long.
** He's also not just a brutal buffoon that simply swings wildly. Knack has a few moves under his belt such as a shield move (that can deflect shots when he swings it right), a {{belly flop crush|ing}}, and momentarily generating swords and spears. He's also actually a quick and creative thinker in combat and out too, and is not above throwing things at opponents or hijacking enemy vehicles. As it turns out, though, Knack is not actually the first of his make. The Norcliff Monastery of old made such things too, though only Knack has shown some manner of sapience. And thanks to Ava of the monks there, he's also learned stretching heavy punches, [[YouWillNotEvadeMe stretching to grab things like a Hook Shot]] (though doesn't carry himself across things this way), creating boomerangs out of his Relics that can then bind foes in electricity, and sending forth a sphere of Relic energy to break through shields.
* Knack had been last seen [[spoiler:going off on a journey with Lucas on his custom plane to discover more about what Knack is and if there are any other beings like him.]] This somehow led them straight to the Pantheon, where they were eventually intercepted and escorted to the Court of the Gods. After a demonstration of his talents, and establishing connections back to their home world, Knack was ascended as a Pantheon deity.

* For all his power, there is admittedly one glaring weakness Knack has; his central core. Striking there with sufficient power will result in him quite literally falling apart. And in the Pantheon, there are more than enough threats that are smart enough to aim for that spot. As such, Knack has been forced to learn to be more careful with his core, such as moving

* (when he has ice (one of the easier materials to adapt), Knack only has a minute out in the sun before those blocks melt, probably also due to the stress his Relic energy deals to them. He can also let out a freezing breath.)
* (when he has wood, while burning him will degrade those parts faster than wood would normallty do (probably for the same reasons as Ice Knack), those parts can still cause a lot of damage before then)
* (when he has scrap metal, he's more susceptible to magnetism. The sequel adds the ability to trail metal to carry electric currents, as well as whips of metal for offense and swinging.)
* Has a "Stealth" form using clear crystals that can bypass laser security systems without triggering them, though he's still technically visible to the naked eye.

* (First order of business: the fact that Relics from their world aren't nearly as prevalent in the Pantheon.) ("Relics" appear now, just like Magiswords)

* Given what he's fought, Knack's first response to any goblin (or orc) is hostile. * Despite his inhumanity, there's a flicker of Jimenez's old self in him: he's perfectly capable of showing kindness and camaraderie to those he deems worthy. An example of this is Luka: he admires the kid for overthrowing Ilias for the sake of monsters. While the version of him in the Pantheon has surrendered himself to his demonic instincts, an alternate version of him was convinced to follow a different path. There are those who hope to sway this Jimenez in that direction.
* Was involved in the [[Fanfic/PantheonRagnarok Ragnarok incident]], as the idea of starting a ForeverWar was too tempting to pass up: it was he who was responsible for abducting Mamori during Mirei's rampage, as well as trying to assassinate Mirei afterwards so as to destroy any hopes of curing the Arms Virus. He only made things worse when he [[KickTheDog taunted Mirei]] with the GUAC's plans to have Momoka Sagara forcefully wield Mamori in service of the GUAC once Mirei was gone, [[BloodKnight in order to enrage Mirei and have her fight at full power]]. Needless to say, between that and his alliance with Wesker the two ''really'' don't like him all that much, while Jimenez is disgusted by their refusal to use their powers to the fullest (ie. use it to crush those weaker than themselves) because of some bullshit morals.
* Eventually, someone pointed out that he broke his "survival of the fittest" creed when he took in Bugaboo, and he couldn't have survived without Bugaboo sacrificing himself to save him. As a result, he's started to lose his ties to Mem Aleph… and gravitated more to Lucifer's overall goal, now favoring freedom over strength. It is still uncertain which Chaos version of his fellow soldier Tadano he's allied with, as both the "New" and "Old" Chaos versions are trying to sway him away from and towards Mem Aleph respectively.

When Gilda scared off Fluttershy, he gave her a solid beating, [[spoiler: even though he did lose the fight.]] When he discovered [[spoiler:just '''how''' Discord ''shattered'' his friends, taking him down became [[ItsPersonal a personal matter]], and he delivered a '''very''' brutal beatdown.]]
* WalkOnWater: Chronicle has a spell that can let him do this (and works as well on anything he would normally fall through like mud [[spoiler:and cotton candy]]). However, it only works on calm surfaces.

** In the case with Sunset Shimmer however, this trope goes full force. With specific spells, she was able to smash his barrier, take out all his magical clones, and even escape his "binding circle" spell without overpowering him.
