The commentators of the MRC. Biff's a loud, bombastic {{jerkass}} while Gary's a meek, timid NiceGuy.
* BullyAndWimpPairing: Biff loves bullying his co-worker Gary by means of constant insults.

The strongest kind of racer there is. These guys' skill levels go way beyond the normal racers' capabilities, and as such they're much harder to beat.

!!Tropes that apply to all of them:
* AuthorityEqualsAsskicking: They're considered the owners of their respective tracks, and they're perfectly happy to show you why.
* BackForTheFinale: Most of them [[note]]Slick, Alola, Nato and Dyno being the exceptions[[/note]] return for the final tour in career mode.
* DefeatMeansPlayable: Upon defeating one of them in a grudge match, they and their kart will be added to the player's roster.

!!Drillbit
* HandicappedBadass: Is missing an eye ([[MadBomber presumably from an explosive-related accident]]) but is no worse a racer for it.
* MadBomber: Loves blowing up his opponents' karts with dynamite.
* StuffBlowingUp: Appears to have the ability to spontaneously blow up other racers' karts in his pre-race intro. However, for balancing purposes he lacks this ability in-game.

!!Skidplate
* {{Expy}}: Is clearly based off [[{{Franchise/Transformers}} Bumblebee]], what with his similar yellow-and-black color scheme and being referred to as a "robot in disguise" in his race description.

!!Wildcard
* OurVampiresAreDifferent: Appears to be some kind of vampiric creature considering his large fangs and tendency to sleep in a queen-sized coffin, but is perfectly capable of racing in the sun (his home track is even set during the day) and doesn't drink blood or display any other vampire-related traits.

* AnIcePerson: An ice-themed Viking.
* CoolOldGuy: No {{pun}} intended; Iceman appears to be pretty old with his white beard, but he's still a elite mod for a reason.

* FaunsAndSatyrs: His furry lower body makes him resemble a satyr.

!!Jez
* AlphaBitch: Her entire shtick. White and pastel color scheme, snooty or ValleyGirl-like affectations and says she became a racer because "daddy hates it."
* BelligerentSexualTension: Appears to develop a love-hate rivalry of sorts with Tag, as they get plenty of pre-race interactions during the Grand Tour that involve them pranking each other.
* PinkMeansFeminine: Wears pastel-pink racing gear, has pink hair, and is an AlphaBitch through-and-through.
* ThePrankster: Has no qualms about waking up a sleeping Tag by honking his kart's horn and causing him to careen into Diablo's kart during the pre-race cutscene in Citadel Heights.

!!Slick
* AgonyOfTheFeet: Tag drives his kart over Slick's foot during the pre-race intro of Sandstorm.
* BerserkButton: Don't call him a gnome.
* CoolOldGuy: He appears to be pretty old, but he's a skilled racer regardless.

* ShockAndAwe: Demonstrates unexplained lightning powers during his pre-race intro in Lost Temple.

!!Nato
* ArchEnemy: He and Diablo have been going at it since they were kids.

* OurDragonsAreDifferent: Resembles a Chinese dragon.
* {{Jerkass}}: Is more interested in winning than making friends, and actually steals Tag's steering wheel during his pre-race cutscene.

!!Dolor
* CoolMask: Dolor's mask is so iconic to his character that it cannot be removed by any means; [[DevelopersForesight even remixing him in the mod creator can't remove it]].
* PurpleIsPowerful: A purple Mexican wrestler who happens to be an elite mod.

!!Diablo
* ArchEnemy: He and Nato have hated each other since childhood, as the career mode opening confirms.
* AxCrazy: Once knocked out another racer and laughed for thirteen hours straight about it.
* FlamingDevil: A firey devil.
* PlayingWithFire: A [[FlamingDevil fire-themed devil creature]].

* FinalBoss: The final racer faced in the career mode, and also has the last grudge match as a result.
