History Tropers / GastonRabbit

As of 2016, I've been playing more {{Fan Translation}}s than "typical" ROM hacks (like the two ''Super Mario Bros. 3'' hacks I mentioned), particularly of SNES [=RPGs=]. Should it ever be relevant, I usually use either a Wii U in Wii mode or an actual Wii to play hacks and fan translations, in case I end up referencing a bug not found in computer-based emulators.

I edit from time to time if I feel the urge to edit mistakes or add examples on a page I'm reading (and said reading material tends to be more than one page at a time, considering the nature of this site).

A while back, I made a page on the [[GameMod ROM hack]] ''VideoGame/SuperMarioBros3Mix'' (which I have since completed) after I played some of it (and also after I watched Vinny from WebVideo/{{Vinesauce}} play it). I also made a very unfinished page on the hack ''[[VideoGame/KoopaKingdomEscape Super Mario: Mushroom Mayhem]]'', which I found out about not long after playing ''VideoGame/MarioAdventure'', though I kind of regret not waiting until the hack itself was finished before making a page for it.

I'm also a pretty big fan of Creator/{{Yuriofwind}} and I've been editing his pages quite a bit as of early 2017.

I'm an [[{{Eagleland}} American]] from the eastern part of south-central Illinois (right next to southwestern Indiana, in fact, but about six hours from [[TheWindyCity Chicago]], the city people tend to associate with Illinois). I took classes on computers in college until 2011 and I access the Internet (including [[HomePage this site]]) using Mozilla Firefox on Ubuntu 13.04 (64-bit version) and have Windows 7 Ultimate installed as well.

Aside from spending a lot of time on the computer I play a lot of {{Video Game}}s. Although most of my computer work is related to fixing hardware and software issues, I've taken Web page and [[ProgrammingLanguage programming]] classes, and in terms of programming, I've grown to dislike C++ (because of the picky and unintuitive syntax) and grown to like Visual Basic and C# (because I get to choose where stuff appears on the screen and, for the former, typing code for what it does isn't as picky with how it's typed, and for the latter it's basically a more intuitive version of C++'s), which thanks to Mono I can use on [[strike:my main]] any non-Windows operating system. I've also been looking into UsefulNotes/{{Python}}, but haven't made much progress due to my poor programming skills.

Now that George W. Bush is no longer President of the United States, Google searches for "miserable failure" should bring up results for [[GarfieldMinusGarfield Jon Arbuckle]]. The only problem is the fact that Google [[http://www.snopes.com/politics/bush/google.asp made it impossible]].

Thanks to TVTropes I now know that CartoonAllStarsToTheRescue was released the day I turned a year old.
