I don't really do the whole "acting like I didn't write my own Troper page" thing, so yeah, this'll be in first person.

So, yeah, I'm Brotha Soul, here to rock and roll, etc. I mostly lurk and make minor edits and fixes here and there. I've also become addicted to the WMG page for ASongOfIceAndFire lately. TheMightyThor's character page is my first real effort. Contributions are welcome!

I'm a big fan of comic books, especially superhero comics. I'm not a big fan of [[DarkerAndEdgier grimdark]] in my comics, which is odd, considering I grew up reading Wolverine in [[TheDarkAgeOfComicBooks The Nineties]]. SilverAge silliness has always appealed to me more -- I still appreciate mature stories like TheAuthority, I just hate the notion that GoodIsOldFashioned -- Truth, Justice, and the American Way remain important values, in my opinion.

I'm currently a high school senior and I'll be majoring in Communication Arts at Framingham State University in the fall. My dream is to direct a movie successful enough that someone from outside the production makes a TVTropes page for it.

My friend and I run a fanblog for the YoungJustice animated series that you can find [[http://youngjustic3.tumblr.com here]]. We're just starting out, but getting reblogged by the better-known blogs is helping us out a lot.
