* ThrowItIn: Kat Dennings' big scene in this episode was cut (see below), and the crew hastily threw together a single scene for Darcy that she could film in front of a bluescreen, as it wouldn't make sense for her to disappear completely from the show at the end.

Jossed is a YMMV Definition Only Page now. Deleting examples, fan theories that are in objective pages - they need to go on YMMV pages - and moving these about a specific fan work to Outdated By Canon

* {{Jossed}}:
** After Paul Bettany mentioned in an interview that the show would have a surprise appearance by an actor he'd always wanted to work with, many fans speculated who it would be, with guesses including Doctor Strange, Nick Fury, a character from the ''Film/XMenFilmSeries'', or Mr. Fantastic. All of these guesses turned out to be false (though it was later revealed that Doctor Strange was originally intended to appear). As Bettany confirmed after the episode aired, [[TrollingCreator he was actually referring to]] [[ExactWords himself as White Vision]].
** Fans also speculated that fake "Pietro" was actually Peter Maximoff / Quicksilver from the ''Film/XMenFilmSeries'', somehow pulled into the show's universe by Agatha or Wanda, or at least a canon character of some importance. It ultimately turned out that he was a random Westview citizen whose house Agatha took over, although whether or not his powers were a creation of the Hex or exist in the real word is never clarified.
** A common reoccurring theory was that the ending would reveal that Mephisto or Nightmare were [[TheManBehindTheMan pulling the strings all along]]. This episode ultimately reaffirms that the reality was a creation entirely of Wanda's making and outside of some manipulation from Agatha, it was all her.

** Creator/BenedictCumberbatch originally signed a contract to appear in the finale as Doctor Strange, and the in-universe commercials were supposed to be revealed as [[https://movieweb.com/doctor-strange-not-in-wandavision-explained/ messages Strange was sending]] in an attempt to get through to Wanda. However, Strange was ultimately written out because Kevin Feige feared his presence would've taken attention away from Wanda in her own show.
