Per TRS, this is now a disambiguation page

* NamesTheSame:
** The Tron Legacy code in-game has nothing to do with ''Film/TronLegacy'', aside from launching a few dozen jokes in the fandom about how both manage to cause damage to everything in range.

* ExiledFromContinuity: Once ''Film/TronLegacy'' was approved, Disney did its best to not only declare the game non-canon, but pretend it never existed.

** The fact that Flynn allegedly went insane and vanished (per the spin-off comic), and Tron's fate is unknown to 2.0's characters, also play very nicely into PatchworkFic.
** Sora's lightcycle and armor designs in VideoGame/KingdomHeartsII are also similar to Jet's.
* RoleReprise: Played straight with Bruce Boxleitner as Alan Bradley. And, yes, as Tron in the ''Killer App'' sequel. Cindy Morgan's role is a [[DoubleSubverted double subversion]]. Played sideways in the ''Killer App'' sequel where Creator/CoreyBurton played the mysterious, malicious User with the same Creator/DavidWarner impersonation he used for Sark and Master Control in VideoGame/KingdomHeartsII.

This is straight up untrue. Between monolith making this and the middle earth games, they made at least 7 other games.

* CreatorKiller: Disney gave this ''very'' little in the way of advertising or support, and Monolith folded less than a year after the game's launch; they were resurrected and produced ''VideoGame/MiddleEarthShadowOfMordor'' and its [[VideoGame/MiddleEarthShadowOfWar sequel]].
