* TheOtherDarrin: Damn near everybody, save for Arnold Schwarzenegger himself as the T-800. Justified meta-wise as this is based in the time of the original film but produced 30 years later, where most of the cast have aged quite a bit. Still raises the question as to why Creator/ChristianBale was replaced by Creator/JasonClarke as John Connor though, given he's the most recent portrayer of him and is still reasonably close in age to work (unless Bale's F-bomb meltdown on the set of ''Film/TerminatorSalvation'' [[RoleEndingMisdemeanor had something to do with it]]). It does follow the trend of John Connor being played by different actors in ''every'' movie since ''[=T2=]'' ([[Series/TerminatorTheSarahConnorChronicles and the TV series]]), although that trend was later [[{{Pun}} terminated]] with ''[[Film/TerminatorDarkFate Dark Fate]]''.

* GermansLoveDavidHasselhoff: Surprisingly, it was a hit in China and owes a quarter of its profits to that market.
