* CreatorKiller: Not necessarily the movies' sales or reception, but the fundraising campaign on both Indiegogo and Kickstarter to finance ''Rampage: President Down'' were so unsuccessful (the goal was $50,000) that Creator/UweBoll chose not to make any more movies after he finishes making ''President Down''. He's been making movies since 1990 (starting with [[KeepCirculatingTheTapes German Fried Movie]]) but then gave up filmmaking altogether in 2016 and lashed out at Hollywood for not taking interest in his work.

* TalkingToHimself: At the start of the first movie, Bill's parents are listening to a TV playing a shopping channel advertising jewelry rings, and you can clearly tell Creator/BrendanFletcher is the voice of the man talking about the ring while Bill is also present but sipping coffee and having a croissant not paying attention to TV (the sequel states that Bill doesn't trust television and frowns on commercialism).

* NamesTheSame: Uwe Boll gets easily angry if he sees the words "Rampage" or "Bill Williamson" attached to another work of fiction, especially if it's gotten bigger attention than his own movies.
** Not to be confused with the Dwayne Johnson blockbuster ''Film/Rampage2018'', which is based on a video game of the same name that came out in 1986 as while this film came out 2009.
** Bill Williamson is the exact same name as a character in ''VideoGame/RedDeadRedemption'', which came out a year after the first ''Rampage'' film.

** Not to be confused with the Dwayne Johnson blockbuster ''Film/Rampage2018''. Uwe Boll expressed anger over that film using the exact same name even though ''Film/Rampage2018'' is based on a video game of the same name that came out in 1986 as while his film came out 2009. Defending his own films, Uwe Boll complains that because of the same name, he could lose money on his own ''Rampage'' movies should the 2018 movie overshadow his on the video market and also the 2018 movie is just feel-good "[[PassThePopcorn popcorn]] bullshit" and along with ''Transformers'' and ''Avengers'' brainwashes America into electing "retards like [[Creator/DonaldTrump Trump]]" for President or making them think [[FlatWorld the earth is flat]]. Boll also protested that the definition of a rampage should apply to humans only, not wild animals.
