Not trivia.

* ActorAllusion: Generally speaking, anyone who was in one of Fabien Fournier's previous creations (e.g. around half the cast) have something carry on from their previous character(s). The elements from ''Lost Levels'' tend to be the most obvious due to ''Noob'' being its SpiritualSuccessor.
** Jibédix and Rubis are played by the ''Audioplay/RefletsDAcide'' creator and his girlfriend. In French "Jibédix" sounds just like "JB-10" and Rubis's background is managing a guild named Trichelieu on a game called "RDA online".

* OlderThanTheyThink: The audience first assumed that the series was inspired from ''Franchise/DotHack''. It was actually based on an older web series by Fabien Fournier, ''Lost Levels''. However, an homage was done to this legend in Season 2 premiere: the first appearance of Kevin (the player behind Sparadrap) is in a wheelchair, (and with a Creator/StephenHawking voice) just like Subaru.[[spoiler: It turns out that Kevin was just playing with his grandma's chair.]]
** In addition to ''Lost Levels'', ''Noob'' shares elements of [[http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x3gbzp_parodie-audio-world-of-warcraft-epi_fun an audio spoof of World of Warcraft.]] Some characters existed as early as that spoof, but the noob was the tank, named Fungliboss. Most ''Noob'' characters are, however, meant to be an {{Expy}} of their ''Lost Levels'' version.
** ''Syrial'', a movie made around the same time as later episodes of ''Lost Levels'', had early appearances of quite a few elements used in the novels, especially the second one. Some of the characters ended up in the webseries, such as Pironess and Tabris. The general idea of Centralis first appeared in that movie also.

* TalkingToHimself: A meta-case happens in the third novel, where Gaea and Saly Asigar briefly exchange a few words. As of ''Film/NoobLeConseilDesTroisFactions'', the two characters are played by the same actress.

* CastAsAMask: An inversion of the trope can occur when whatching ''Lost Levels'' after watching ''Noob''. Heimdäl's mask is an allusion to a character his actor was playing in that series, and that character was actually wearing a mask in-game to conceal his identity as someone already seen in real-life parts of the story. If you recognize the actor of even his name in the credits the first time he appears, the identity of the masked man that appears later is obvious.

* RealLifeWritesThePlot: Some events influenced the writing of the webseries and affected the two other media, some of which with incredibly good timing :
** Amandine Tagliavini (Golgotha) was pregnant for most of Season 3, that had the Noob guild go through a couple of temporary seventh members.
** Jonathan Fourcade (Arthéon) had to reduce his appearances for Season 3, so the story had him sent off to BoardingSchool. That gave a head start to the Season 4 storyline that involved him starting to neglect the guild. He also lost lots of weight between Seasons 4 and 5, right around the time a radical appearance change would be appropriate for his storyline.
** Between Season 3 and 4, Frédéric Zolfanelli (Sparadrap) started losing his hair and one of the solutions to that was to cut it sorter. Sparadrap got a BreakTheCutie moment in Season 3 finale and spent time in charge of the guild in Season 4 [[spoiler:before becoming its official Guild master in the fourth novel and Season 5]].

** The BroadStrokes relationship between the media usually takes care of this trope, but Heimdäl and Arthéon's intended past as best friends escaped that safety net. The two have only interacted twice so far in all three media taken together, and always in circumstances where any random player who did the same thing as Arthéon would have gotten similar response/support from Heimdäl. The only remanents are Arthéon's mentionned past as a Justice guild strategist and their shared practice of roleplay that is blurred out by the fact that the whole Justice guild main roster is made of roleplaying fans.
