* NeverWorkWithChildrenOrAnimals: One scene required the Doctor and Will to arrive at a lych gate in a horse-drawn cart. The horse was meant to walk up to the gate, but not go through it. At first the horse would not walk towards the gate as it was distracted by the presence of its mare grazing nearby. Then, the director moved the mare behind the gate to encourage the horse to approach it, but now the horse walked straight through the gate, destroying it!

* NeverWorkWithChildrenOrAnimals: One scene required the Doctor and Will to arrive at a lych gate in a horse-drawn cart. At first, the horse was reluctant to approach the lych gate because his mare was grazing in a field nearby. The director decided to bring the mare inside the churchyard -- out of shot -- to encourage the animal to behave properly. Unfortunately, the horse became so excited that, on the take, it proceeded to follow the actors through the lych gate, destroying it in the process. Luckily, the shot up to that point could still be salvaged for use in the finished episode. The scene became one of the few ''Doctor Who'' out-takes to actually be broadcast on Creator/TheBBC and was also seen internally on BBC safety videos as an example of how ''not'' to film scenes involving animals.
