** Ryo's original (and only thus far) Japanese voice actor Creator/AkiraKamiya returns despite having mostly retired several years prior. He made an exception because of his fondness of the role and because the relative ease of the voice compared to many of his other roles means he could still perform it despite his age, as Ryo does not really have the hot blooded yelling of Kenshiro, or Kamiya's many Super Robot protagonist roles.

What makes this interesting is, Ai Kisugi's French voice actress, Annabelle Roux, was one of Miki's replacement VA in the 2nd season of ''Manga/CityHunter''.

** English wise, the dub features a completely new cast compared to ADV's dubs of the previous films. An attempt was made at looking to bring the old cast back [[https://twitter.com/GWOtaku/status/1155529629639294980 but they had all since moved on and were unavailable]] (such as Kaori's actress, Pamela Ribon, who had since become a screenwriter and co-wrote ''WesternAnimation/{{Moana}}'' and ''WesternAnimation/RalphBreaksTheInternet''. This was also necessary in the case of Umibozu's VA in those dubs, Lou Perryman who was murdered at his home in 2009.
