* ThrowItIn: The monitor near Sheridan [[ExplosiveInstrumentation that exploded]] when an enemy Starfury was shot down (and crashed onto the blast doors of C & C) wasn't supposed to erupt in flames (but it did anyway) so a background extra was given a fire extinguisher to put out the fire. It added a sense of realism to the scene that they kept it in.

* WhatCouldHaveBeen: Creator/JMichaelStraczynski wrote the role of Major Ryan for Creator/EverettMcGill, after being impressed with his work on ''Series/TwinPeaks'' and meeting him in a restaurant. But, he couldn't remember his first name while talking with the casting director, so he told her to get "that [=McGill=] guy". When she suggested he might mean Bruce [=McGill=], who she'd worked with before, he agreed. He only found out his mistake too late. But ever since, he's been sure to emphasize that he thought Bruce did a great job.

* HilariousOuttakes: The gag reel for this episode includes a bit referencing Creator/RobertFoxworth getting double-booked to play Admiral Leyton in the "Homefront"/"Paradise Lost" two-parter on B5's rival show ''Series/StarTrekDeepSpaceNine''. Asked where Hague is, Bruce [=McGill=] (Major Ryan) responds completely deadpan:
-->"General Hague is doing ''Deep Space Nine''. ''(everyone on set cracks up)'' It seems he was double-booked by his agent, there was nothing to be done. You'll have to deal with me, sir."

Alternate Character Interpretation is YMMV, not Trivia. Moving.

* AlternateCharacterInterpretation: The Narns were given shelter aboard Babylon 5 after their homeworld was overrun by the Centauri. G'Kar (their last surviving leader) was given sanctuary on Babylon 5, and the station defended a damaged Narn cruiser from attack from the Centauri. To the Narns, driving forward to attack the Earthforce boarding parties as they did (instead of holding and fortifying a position, as Garabaldi wanted to do) wasn't so much a LeeroyJenkins move as much as it was HonorBeforeReason.
** It was also a gutsy move that showed the Narns' ability to thing ''strategically'' as well as ''tactically''. Sure, it seemed [[LeeroyJenkins stupid, if not outright crazy]] to charge into Earthforce guns, but the tactic had two benefits: ''it kept the Earthforce troops occupied in a relatively isolated area, so that they couldn't cause any more damage or possibly civilian casualties'' (tactical) and ''kept them away from vital areas such as the command deck, the launch bays and the power systems'' (systems that if disabled, could leave Babylon 5 unable to defend itself and ripe for capture by Earthforce - strategic). '''''The Narns' sacrifices actually helped win the Shadow War.'''''
