* EntertainlyWrong: When Galileo and Scaramouche find the Bohemians at the Seven Seas of Rhye, they assume that they are alright and that the fight is back on, not knowing (maybe forgetting) that Khashoggi had them all brain-drained. Pop sets the record straight.

** In Las Vegas [[spoiler:Graceland, Elvis Presley's mansion, replaced Wembley Stadium in the climax]]. The Vegas-specific jokes were added, including a Bohemian named Wayne Newton, Galileo having a bad dream about Celine Dion, and a TakeThat at Creator/CirqueDuSoleil when Pop claims a Queen musical was so successful in Vegas that it ran the Cirque shows out of town (though this one turned out to be a FaileFutureForecast, as the Vegas run of the show closed after a year while the Cirque shows continue to this day). * {{Fanservice}} ''Fat Bottomed Girls''. Oh, how that scene is pure fanservice. Although pretty much all of the female outfits qualify in every song.

* DefiantToTheEnd: After Khashoggi enters the Heartbreak Hotel to round up the Bohemians, Brit defiantly takes them on to cover for Galileo and Scaramouche's escape. Predictably, Brit gets killed.

** For the Killer Queen, arguably, ''Play the Game''.

* IrrelevantActOpener: ''One Vision'' to an extent. It shows part of the Ga Ga day - and gives more [[Literature/NineteenEightyFour Orwellian]] parallels, but it does seem irrelevant considering how Act One ended.

** Pop has the melancholic ''These Are the Days of Our Lives'', which is less of a personal want, but more of a desire for a return to simpler times.

** Not the mention the Killer Queen's performances of ''Killer Queen'' and ''Another One Bites the Dust''

* VillainLoveSong: "A kind of magic" in the German and Austrian version of the show.
