''Kimberly Akimbo'' is the 2021 musical adaptation of the 2000 [[Theatre/KimberlyAkimbo play of the same name]] by Creator/DavidLindseyAbaire. The adaptation was done by Lindsey-Abaire and Creator/JeanineTesori, who had previously worked together on ''Theatre/ShrekTheMusical''. It first premiered Off-Broadway in November 2021 before a move to Broadway in 2022.
