* The ''VideoGame/BionicCommando'' sequel which came out in 2009 features this in the end credits which is a morse code. The first line of the morse code gets translated mentioning that the plan of the bad guys had been disabled, awaiting for further instructions. The second code however gets interrupted by the screen glitching up and returning you to the title screen. It's been translated by fans, and is a German-language message discussing beginning "Phase 2" of Project Albatross.

** If you beat Bowser at the end of ''VideoGame/SuperMarioGalaxy'' with all 120 stars, then after the credits are over, we get to see Rosalina fly away to a different part of the galaxy, followed by a baby Luma climbing out of a damaged flying saucer.
** If you beat Bowser at the end of ''VideoGame/SuperMarioGalaxy2'' with all 120 stars, then after the credits, it's revealed that [[NarratorAllAlong the events of the entire game were actually part of a storybook Rosalina was telling to the Lumas]]. Once she is finished reading, she decides to tell said Lumas another story, which segues into the second phase of the game involving collecting the "Green Stars" (composing of the remaining 120 stars), which are required to access the game's ''true'' final level, [[spoiler:Grandmaster Galaxy.]]

* The ''Videogame/{{Yakuza}}'' series tend to end with an after-credit scene that wraps up the story. One example in ''VideoGame/{{Yakuza 0}}'': Makoto Makimura visits the Empty Lot and finds her [[TragicKeepsake broken watch]], now repaired. Elsewhere, Kazuma Kiryu and Goro Majima meet for the very first time.

** In the expansion pack, just after defeating the God of The Undead, the camera pans over to a bare spot of ground, and you see a skeleton rise up and chuckle. Cut to credits. Wait until after the credits, however, and you see that either your divine hand (or someone with a flaming arrow) had noticed the skeleton and blew it up.

* ''VideoGame/ChooChooCharles'': [[spoiler:After the credits roll, a final cutscene shows a small egg shaking inside of a mine, before the camera pans and reveals ''hundreds'' of eggs occupying the same mine]].

* ''VideoGame/DyztopiaPostHumanRPG'': After the credits, [[spoiler:Akari is still in prison and learns that Eliza created a documentary based on the former in order to start a feminist movement in the Smog Empire. ** Ending 8: [[spoiler:Following the protagonist's death, rumors about the memory restoration drug having fatal side effects spreads across Ajik City. AVAC denies using it on him for his interrogation for his crimes. Meanwhile, DNA testing confirms that the man found washed ashore at the beginning of the game isn't Bob, but Darcy, who found him and had him pose as him and run the former's shop, refuses to comment on it.]]

* Once the credits stop rolling following the MindScrew ending of ''VideoGame/BioShockInfinite'', you get to play as Booker for a few moments as [[spoiler:he steps into Anna's room, calling her name -- the camera cuts to black before you can see if she's in her crib or not.]] The implications, [[AlternateCharacterInterpretation depending on your interpretation]], are either that [[spoiler:with the Comstock realities erased, this version of Booker will now get to live with his daughter in peace]] or [[spoiler:his alternate universe counterpart's Heroic Sacrifice failed to change anything, and he's about to go through with the events that kicked off the game in the first place.]]
