** In ''The Bed Room'', a porno spoof of ''Film/TheRoom'', he is amused by their spoof of the "I got the results of the test back" scene, where Lisa's mom has breast ''enhancements'' instead of breast cancer -- which she demonstrates by lifting her top, to the embarrassment of Lisa.

* DoesNotLikeShoes: The Snob goes barefoot, or at least sockless-with-loafers, in every episode. Brad states that this was part of the look of the attendee at the George Romero Q&A that inspired the look of the Cinema Snob.

* GoneHorriblyRight: After seeing it used in ''Film/CannibalFerox'', the Snob decides to see what would happen if he called his wife a "hot-pussied little whore". CoitusEnsues.

* BetterThanCanon: [[invoked]] The Snob is surprised that he finds ''Film/SexAndTheCity 3'' (which is actually a porno spoof and not the cancelled third film) better than the two previous canon films.

* BetterByADifferentName: On ''Grizzly II'', he notices the [[RetroactiveRecognition famous names]] and states ''Film/{{Grizzly}}'' also [[TheMockbuster had everyone]]. [[Film/{{Jaws}} "Chief Brody, Matt Hooper, Jaws, even Alex Kitner"]]

** The Snob's review of ''Film/NineteenFortyOne'' is not only a completely sincere positive review, but it's also the first review since the Snob's early days that isn't a commentary-filled runthrough of the film's plot, instead being structured as a more traditional review focused on dissecting various elements such as characters, set design, cinematography and comedic writing. Even as unironic positive reviews from the Snob have become more common, the ''1941'' and "10 Awesome Things About ''Film/BattlefieldEarth''" episodes remain relatively unique for being the only reviews since the very early days of the Snob to not cover the film in a linear format.

** He and WebVideo/TheNostalgiaCritic did a review of the first ''Film/{{Leprechaun}}'' and later of ''Film/{{Sharknado}}''.

** After receiving a VHS tape of the unsettlingly realistic [[{{Gorn}} faux-snuff film]] ''Guinea Pig: The Devil's Experiment'' in the mail, the Snob reports it to the police... for [[ExcusePlot having terrible scriptwriting and camerawork.]][[note]]This was a ShoutOut to Creator/CharlieSheen reporting one of the ''Guinea Pig'' movies as a snuff film to the FBI, which also gets brought up at the end of the review (though it was the second movie, not the first.)[[/note]]

** The Snob recieved an anonymous package containing a movie called ''Guinea Pig'' which is presented as if it were a SnuffFilm. Snob is horrified and calls the police. When the detective shows up and watches the film, the Snob immediatly decries it as a fake, saying he called the police because of how ''poorly'' the movie was made.

** ''Guinea Pig: Devil's Experiment'' has Brad and a visiting cop watching the movie believing it to be a SnuffFilm.

* BaldOfAwesome: Starting with the 2014 episodes, Snob has resorted to shaving off all his hair.

** ''The Penetrator'' has Brad replying to a Pornhub ad on "1 weird trick to get your erection back" with "Don't watch any of the pornos featured on this show! Except for maybe ''Pussy Talk''." He has a similar reaction on the ''Tugrats'' episode (which itself could be an example, since it's a porno spoof of ''WesternAnimation/{{Rugrats}}', '''of all things''') when his reaction to a Pornhub ad saying "Make Any Girl Fuck" is "Did you just try to ''sell me rape''?!"

* ArtifactTitle: The concept of "The Cinema Snob" is a snobby movie critic reviewing shoddy exploitation movies. Most of the stuff Brad presents in his show falls under this genre, yet he has also reviewed films where your definition whether they really are exploitation movies is at least debatable; some of them are just random drama movies that failed at the box office and became forgotten or low-budget student films.[[note]]He would eventually leave the "forgotten drama movies" as a joke option for his Patreon polls.[[/note]] And then by 2013-14 he decided to add "What the Fuck Hollywood", mainstream movies with A-list casts that fail spectacularly, to his catalogue. In earlier episodes, Snob even discussed having a rule about no reviewing films made after 1995,[[note]]This actually becomes important in the ''Film/AxEm'' review, as he tries to avoid reviewing that film by stating that it was released after 1995, only to be informed that it was ''filmed'' before that year.[[/note]] which he lifted it after deciding that Christian propaganda films gave him a new type of exploitation movies, although there are many post-1995 films he has reviewed that aren't Christian films. And then there's 2020 onwards, where he has reviewed prestigious classic films such as ''Film/TheShining'' and the early ''Film/JamesBond'' films.

** His review of ''Maniac'' was filled to the brim with this, as he brings up several criticisms leveled against it in character as the Snob. This may have been [[invoked]][[SomeAnvilsNeedToBeDropped to make it clear to fans that the Cinema Snob is a parody]].
