** Bau in ''VideoGame/LufiaTheRuinsOfLore'' is a half-monster man who can haul the biggest weapons in the party. While he's a GlassCannon, the party's other Big Guy, [[spoiler:Dekar]], leans towards StoneWall.

* Dekao from ''[[MegaManBattleNetwork Rockman.EXE]]'' (known as Dex in the American dub).

* The Heavy Weapons Guy of ''VideoGame/TeamFortress2'' carries a minigun weighing over three hundred pounds which costs $400,000 to fire for twelve seconds, and cackles insanely while using it. He's most likely to be the BoisterousBruiser, but if his presence is bigger than his physical size, think how big his presence must be.

* Sabin from ''VideoGame/FinalFantasyVI'' definitely qualifies. Also Umaro, the yeti.
* As does Steiner from ''VideoGame/FinalFantasyIX''. Freya can be this if she's not being TheLancer, and Amarant becomes this as well.
* As mentioned above, Barret Wallace from ''VideoGame/FinalFantasyVII''.
* In ''VideoGame/FinalFantasyVIII'', Zell and Selphie both fit this role, while also both occasionally becoming TheSmartGuy, for different reasons. Zell is the muscled brawler and Selphie is the best with weaponry and explosives.

* Rhino from ''Videogame/WarFrame''. He is the heaviest Warframe and stands taller than any other frame except [[StatuesqueStunner Saryn]], and his Primed variant features some serious ShouldersOfDoom. He is built to fill the tank role in the group, both via his CC abilities and his enormous armor, health, and shield reserves. Aforementioned traits also allow him to use the heaviest weapons in the game without fear of making himself an easy target, since he can easily soak up the gunfire while dishing out immense damage in return.

* Kanna Kirishima from ''SakuraTaisen'', a rare female [[TheBigGuy Big Guy]] -- who is an {{Amazonian|Beauty}} musclebound type with [[TheIdiotFromOsaka rough-hewn manners]], but also [[BoisterousBruiser a cheerful and smiling attitude]].

** ''VideoGame/DragonAgeInquisition'' has the Iron Bull, who is explicitly called "The Muscle" in promo material. He's a heavily scarred Qunari mercenary, but he's really a BoisterousBruiser whose priorities are protecting the innocent and having fun. Cassandra may also qualify, as she's a sword-and-board type whose ShieldBash can act as a battering ram.

* '''Captain Gordon, Defender of Earth!''' in ''VideoGame/DisgaeaHourOfDarkness'', Taro (subverted as he's a MeatShield) in ''VideoGame/{{Disgaea 2|CursedMemories}}'', and Mr. Champloo in ''VideoGame/{{Disgaea 3|AbsenceOfJustice}}''. Sapphire has elements of this though she's TheChick.

** Ashley is a female Class 4. She's HotBlooded, honest, protective of her team-mates and specializes in damage output.

** Ashley is a female Class 4.

* Terence from ''VideoGame/AngryBirds'' is a much larger version of Red, complete with a lack of special abilities. He debuted within a set of {{Remix Level}}s designed around his added durability.

*** Not only re-uniting, but doing so in a way which itself should be impossible from what we've heard of the krogan race - he's taken the ever-so-important krogan traditions that have been around for longer than the human race has been vaguely civilized, beaten them until they can't stand, kicked them in the side a couple of times for good measure, and then started ''jumping up and down on them''. At least if you believe his opponents and detractors.

* [[MegaNeko Big the Cat]] and [[CrushKillDestroy Omega]] in ''SonicChronicles''. Their FastballSpecial move is 'Wrecking Ball'.
** Amy, like Sapphire above has elements of big guy.
** Knuckles as well, a rough Class 4, though most of the time, he's very calm.

* Captain Gordon in ''{{Disgaea}}'', Taro (subverted as he's a MeatShield) in ''Disgaea2'', and Mr. Champloo in ''Disgaea3''. Sapphire has elements of this though she's TheChick.

* FearEffect. Jacob "Deke" [=DeCourt=] is big and powerful.

* Fran in ''VideoGame/FinalFantasyXII''. Obviously the most noticeable, being a [[ProudWarriorRaceGuy Viera]], and thus having bunny ears, tends to go on [[TheBerserker berserker rages]], and also literally as she towers over the rest of the party(even without the ears).

* The ''SlyCooper'' series has Murray; the team's strongman and getaway driver. He was more a burden than anything else in the first game, but really came into his own in the 2nd and 3rd games, wherein he was shown single-handedly knocking the stuffing out of entire armies of mooks, all while ChewingTheScenery like no one else.

* ''{{Halo}} Reach'''s [[TheSquad Noble Team]] heavy weapons trooper Jorge-052. As an older Spartan-II, Jorge is the physically largest Spartan in Noble team standing at 7'4, 320 pounds. He's a Type-2, a GentleGiant who is markedly more stable than most of his team-mates and has a wide sentimental streak.

* Kanji from ''{{Persona 4}}'' is a textbook Class 3 (JerkWithAHeartOfGold). Chie is a CuteBruiser type.

* Also by Bioware is ''JadeEmpire'' with Black Whirlwind. He is an unrepentant Class 4 who just shrugs with a "Meh" whenever he's told his most recent story is the dumbest thing ever told. While an effective fighter, he is far more memorable for his many colorful and incredibly violent stories.

* Sabin from ''VideoGame/FinalFantasyVI'' definitely qualifies.

* Bentley the yeti from the third ''SpyroTheDragon'' game is a perfect Class V, charging into battle with his ice club swinging while yelling things like "[[SesquipedalianLoquaciousness Why, you brazenly avaricious, duplicitous, larcenous ursine!]]"

* Tychus Findlay fills this role in ''StarcraftII''. Even without his enormous PowerArmor, [[TwentyFourHourArmor which he's]] [[ClingyCostume always wearing]], he's a physically imposing guy, and comes complete with a [[BadassBaritone deep]] but easy on the ears voice. [[spoiler: Too bad he experiences a case of BigGuyFatalitySyndrome...]]
