* While on the verge of death, Mr. Wang apologizes to Li Na for how he [[AllForNothing failed]] to give her a better life. Li Na responds that all she ever truly wanted was to spend quality time with her dad. Had it not been for Din's last wish, this would've been a tragic story of a man who wasted time he could've spent with his daughter [[AllForNothing only to die]] just as he realized what's most important in life.

* It's sad to see that, for all her dad's efforts to give her a better life, Li-Na isn't happy with the way things are. Although rich and a top-model, she's surrounded on all sides by [[LonelyRichKid people she can hardly call her friends]]. Two conversations at the party establishes that ''nobody'' respects what she has to say. She tells a vendor she doesn't want to endorse lipstick that's not cruelty-free, yet they simply take that as a yes. Another vendor [[HopeSpot seemingly has an interest in her future]], but it's only to [[YankTheDogsChain sell a new fashion line of undergarments]]. By the time Din meets her again (proper), he finds her hiding under a pile of her birthday presents, crying her eyes out.
* Upon listening in on Din and Li-na's "Something's missing" conversation, Long has a sad look on his face. Second time watching it, one could interpret he felt the same way in his previous life, no matter how much gold he amassed.

For a moment, Long lowers his gaze, as though subconsciously suspecting it's this kind of thinking from his previous life that lead to him being punished by the Heavens.
