* Cartman's fate at the end is such a massive one for fans who've become attached to Future Good Cartman that his fate through time travel is tragic beyond words. After it's shown that Cartman had indeed become a better person in the bad future, Cartman tells his family that if it's meant to be, God will make it so that his family will live in this new timeline. Instead, in the new timeline, Cartman ends up an angry, drunk, friendless bum who never did anything with his life without anyone knowing about and appreciating his sacrifice. It is genuinely heartbreaking that the weight of his sacrifice reduces him to a hobo, with only his former friends pitying him.
