*The original concept for Myst V was for it to take place 50 years after the events of Uru, but this was retconned in 2006, instead taking place immediately one year after Uru. Everything in the game just looks and is implied to be just so... forgotten. The D'ni cavern is abandoned, as is Tomahna, Atrus seems to have passed away, the now-200-year-old Myst Book is locked shut, stained, and tattered from 200 years of use, and all the ages you visit are equally as empty.
