* Kento's first action as Calibur is to seal the Sword-Gun of Sound Suzune, preventing Tetsuo from ever becoming Slash again. After Kento makes his leave and Reika exploits the situation to confiscate Hanselnuts to Gretel, Tetsuo curls up into a ball and begins crying and screaming in grief while desperately clinging to what is now a useless hunk of metal and screaming its name in despair. The sheer magnitude of his despair makes it seem he lost a child rather than a weapon, which isn't too outlandish to believe since his clan forged the elemental Seiken.

** What hits even harder is the reason he came to this conclusion, and why his smile is gone: The Sword of Darkness Kurayami has shown him multiple futures where they try to stop the world from being destroyed and fail every single time, all because the swords are used at the same time, the seal is completed, and the Book of All is made, erasing the world except for him. * As divisive as a character he is, it's hard not to feel bad for Ren this episode, following his defection from the Sword of Logos. Desiring to have Kento return to the side of good and fight together as comrades once more, Ren is only met with having his ass handed to him, and his Fuusouken Hayate getting sealed. With all that said and done, all Ren is left with is a former friend turning against him, a sword he can't even transform with anymore, and a completely shattered spirit.

%%* Rintaro finally meets his father, and it turns out that Shinjiro is one of the people erasing the swordsmen and issues a challenge to his own son if he seeks to shoulder the grudge of every victim of the swordsmen conflicts.
** One more for Shinjiro: he distanced from his family to protect those precious to him, and yet he saw the sacrifice of few to save the lives of many. He's basically a broken veteran at this point.
* Yuina lost her fiancé during one of Kamen Rider Espada's battle, and because of that she only got close to Kento to look for an opportunity to erase him and other swordsmen just out of revenge.
* Riku PTSD breakdowns whenever he remembers of the Kamiyama Book Store burning or the Fire Swordsman are extremely heart-wrenching,
* The ends of each of the Swordsmen of the Void is guaranteed to make anyone cry. Except Bahato maybe.
** Shinjiro was willing to spare his son all along if he just gave up being a swordsman, because he is the only one with any memory of Rintaro at this point. Yet, as he dies, he praises his son for choosing that path on his own. Rintaro can only sob and let the waterworks run as he suddenly ceases to be when his father breathes his last.
** Yuina was never able to move on, but even if she hated Kento because of her loss, she still wanted him to live on and that a bit of her love for him was what gave him the power he needed to save her from her own grudge. * Remember Yuri getting close to the wounded? He's actually healing them. Unfortunately, while it's heartwarming, it's also sad, since he fades away completely after that. Thank you, Sword(sman) of Radiance. Your sacrifice will not be forgotten.
* After so many episodes of Touma trying to save her, the build up to the finale leads to the near-unthinkable: Luna's sacrifice. She initiates the same ritual like Isaac, only this time it's on her own terms and unites the other Seiken to form the Wonder Almighty Wonder Ride Book to give Touma and his two friends a better chance at defeating Storious. Goodbye, Luna. You were too good for this insane, trash-laden world...

Goodbye, Luna. You were too good for this insane, trash-laden world...
* While it's satisfying to see Storious get trashed by Touma, Rintaro and Kento, he's still crestfallen over how his actions doomed both Wonder World and Earth. Even in his dying moments, you can't help but feel sorry for him.
* As the world seemingly ends, Touma collapses to the ground and his two buddies try to comfort him...and then everything turns black.
** This changes into happy tears, however. While all alone in the dark, Touma hears a story from a child, followed by more kids and then adults. He makes use of those stories to bring back both worlds.
* One year later...and Touma's gone as Kento narrates, having been drafted into Wonder World as its new guardian. Kento even mentions the Megids' many victims also haven't returned...
* Mei's speech as she accepts the award for Touma's last book on his behalf. She's missing him as her best friend and tells him to never miss his deadlines, now that he's writing stories somewhere else...
* In the midst of this seemingly BittersweetEnding...the missing folks return. Apparently they're missing so much, such that it may take some time for them to reconnect with any friends or relatives they possibly have. It's not as bad as the victims from Film/AvengersEndgame but still.
