** Morgan's supports reveal they have absolutley ''[[LaserGuidedAmnesia no]]'' memory of their Non-Avatar parent, and he/she feels ''realy'' bad about it. Even if the reach A, Morgan still only manages to recall one ''etremely vague'' memory of them. It's tear-jerking from both sides too: immigine your own child knowing nothing about you other than the fact you're their parent.

* Part ArtificialStupidity, part VideogameCrueltyPotential, but some of the children characters (most notably Cynthia) initially start off as enemies. Which means it's entirely possible, if you're [[EpicFail stupid]] or [[VideogameCrueltyPotential mean]] enough, to have then go back in time to save the future... ''only to be unwittingly killed by their own parents!!'' Granted, it's rare for this to happen, but when it does... [[MyGodWhatHaveIDone the game does its best to make sure you feel AWFUL about it.

Sorry, that was Japanese Henry. The localization changed him considerably.

* Not even the first generation characters are immune to BackstoryHorror. Henry is a prime example: his parents abandoned him and sent him to a BoardingSchoolOfHorrors for no reason other than they were just dicks. As a result, he had a horribly traumatic childhood, to the point where it completley broke him mentally. To get over it, he decided to take ThePollyanna UpToEleven: act incredibly optimistic and cheerful all the time, even will brutally killing people in the battlefield. He [[BecomingTheMask Became The Mask]], and [[BloodKnight it wasn't pretty.]] [[CreepyChild He now appears near-pychopathic to everyone he meets.]] Worse, if you get the generic event quote where he's asked about his dreams, he cheerfully admits he [[DeathSeeker wants to die a horrible bloody death that's completely painless.]] Just the fact that this guy got messed up ''so'' bad is deeply depressing in and of itself.
