* Sidetable Drawer's subplot in ''Blue's Big Musical Movie''. After spending most of the show in the background except to give Steve his notebook, we find out that she actually wants to join in with the other characters, especially in their big music show, but is too shy to ask. This is made even worse for her as every attempt she makes to ask Steve to be part of the show, her shyness gives in and ends up accepting menial jobs Steve gives her, like collecting tickets. Her song "Sidetable's Lament" is equally as sad.
** From the same movie, Steve briefly has a HeroicBSOD when he realizes that he's never actually found a clue on his own without the viewers' help. He even sings a short song to the tune of "Sidetable's Lament" about it (the soundtrack has a different, longer song for the scene that wasn't used in the movie) before his friends encourage him to go on.
** For Sidetable, as mentioned above, when she sings her song, "Sidetable's Lament", she sings that she is not just a drawer, and can do more than just be a drawer and even sings that that fact is ignored. Ouch! Poor Sidetable...

* "Blue's First Holiday" reveals that Blue came from a dog farm book, but she was the only magical puppy there, and therefore she was the only one who didn't act like an ordinary puppy and therefore felt lonely. The reason she stayed in the yellow house was because young Steve was the first who treated her as an equal, so she never wanted to return to her book.
