* The bald jailer of all people gets an emotional moment when the city is under the assumption that the end of the world is coming. Hernán orders the guards to evacuate the garrison to go die with their families or however they want, but the jailer doesn't leave, and actually tells him with a forlorn look that he has spent all his life in the dungeons and that there is nothing for him outside.

-->"Today I don't come in a good mood. Let's have some words you and me. ''[Sits on the prie-dieu.]'' You, who are high there, who sees everything, who knows everything, who ''moves'' us at your will, how have you allowed me to bring my master to this palace? How have you done that to a good man? Why have you allowed me to know the truth? You, who has always been my light, whose word every step I made was to follow... I never thought you could be so cruel. [[WhamLine I don't believe in you anymore.]] He... he had been searching his father for years. It would have been better for him not to know it was the King."

** Firstly comes Gonzalo's horse. It gladly allows Sátur to ride it in order to reach Guipúzcoa and appeal to the King to save Gonzalo, but the travel is so rushed and harsh that the poor animal falls dead while Sátur frantically tries to revive it. When its eyes are left staring lifeless to the sky, Sátur knows his hope to save Gonzalo is vaned. The scene's soundtrack and camera takes make it ''heartwrenching''.

* At the series's penultimate episode, there are two deaths.
The scene's soundtrack and camera takes makes it ''heartwrenching''.
*** Specially harsh when you learn that, in real life, this horse was Águila Roja's ''second'' mount. The first horse used in the filming reportedly died in unclarified circumstances in 2015.
** And then it comes Cipri. The bitter former innkeeper, who had been reduced to a living misery and a cheap servant for the last years, who had turned more and more bitter to his friends with all the right reasons, suddenly sees a guard entering the cell they are fighting in with a gun pointed up to Gonzalo, and he swiftly does a TakingTheBullet moment with its appropriate BigNo.

* When Hernán is fired as Sheriff in Season 7, he naturally gets very upset, and yet he can't avoid hearing Nuño, his unknowing son, admit that he is ashamed of Hernán. The former Sheriff is so broken that he can only mutter a casual reply and stumbles as Nuño gets past him and out the room. Nuño being teary-eyed while saying it only makes it worse.

* Cristina's death, complete with Gonzalo cradling her corpse and screaming to the night sky while her blood forms the shape of an eagle around them. It just shows that Águila Roja was born from the pain.
