But the company (Vince) was stubborn and kept pushing him anyway, trying to spin his negative reactions as something else, culminating in ''Wrestling/WrestleMania 32'', where Reigns won the title off mega-heel Wrestling/TripleH while being booed by 100,000 people. And the future of the company for the fans remaining seemed darker than ever.\\\

Then, just when it seems he'll get out of his funk by becoming the #1 Contender to the new Universal Title, he gets pinned clean ''again'', this time by Wrestling/FinnBalor, who had just debuted on the main roster.
