* GreatWhiteHunter: All members of the Elite Global Huntsmans Club, a group of hunters that claimed Australia as theirs (although they often make use of [[WesternAnimation/{{Up}} Charles Muntz's palatial zeppelin]] as a mobile base) and include [[WesternAnimation/BeautyAndTheBeast Gaston]], [[WesternAnimation/{{Tarzan}} Clayton]], [[WesternAnimation/OneHundredAndOneDalmatians Cruella]], and the club's leader, [[WesternAnimation/TheRescuersDownUnder McLeach]].

* ForWantOfANail: The major turning point for Silver is that he chose Flint's treasure over Jim.

* FaceHeelTurn: [[WesternAnimation/{{Brave}} King Ferguson] has joined the Huntsmen Club

* SchizoTech: With the nations involved ranging from the Classical Era to the Industrial Age (with the "Gridlocked" expansion adding aliens and modern-day computer tech (and with it [[Film/{{Tron}} hackers/"Users" and Programs]]), the odds of a group of heroes piecing together their tech is more than likely.
* SkyPirate: Captain Hook decided to forget about piracy on the high seas, and instead took to the open air (thanks to some lessons from a captured Tinker Bell) to avoid dealing with Ursula.

* AlternateUniverse: Four alternate settings are in the works; Gridlocked, dealing with more modern villains such as [[WesternAnimation/TheIncredibles Syndrome]], [[WesternAnimation/KimPossible Shego]] and [[{{WesternAnimation/Motorcity}} Abraham Kane]]; Saturday Morning Villains Victorious, where characters like [[Franchise/TheTransformers Megatron]], [[WesternAnimation/SpiralZone Overlord]] and [[WesternAnimation/JayceAndTheWheeledWarriors the Monsterminds]] took over; Cruel Network/Cartoon Network Villains Victorious, which deals with characters from Creator/CartoonNetwork; and Rock Bottom, which features characters from Creator/{{Nickelodeon}}.

** The Rescue Aid Society, which itself is a cover for the far more militant RATS.
** The Society of the Glass Slipper, operating between the Mirror Kingdoms and the Archdioceses.
** The Free Creatures in central India, led by Bagheera, is made up of multiple talking and intelligent animals who escaped from the other kingdoms.

* {{Mordor}}: Not just one, but ''three.''
** There is the [[WesternAnimation/ThePrincessAndTheFrog Shadowland]], an area in the American Midwest spanning from South Dakota to Haiti ruled by Dr. Facilier, a bleak territory where everything is [[DealWithTheDevil on loan.]]

** People in Pyridian also tend to refer to their king as "Old Uncle Antlers".

** On a more large-scale note President Nix from Tomorrowland is trying to cause a Class 2, but due to all of the madness present in the setting, he is unable to do so.

* {{Cyberpunk}}: Primarily found in San Fransokyo; cybernetics are all the rage among the population because they [[MundaneUtility enable the user to work harder and longer than a non-augmented human.]]

** Mr. Big has survived Mayor Bellweather's collaring of the predatory animals of Zootopia, and while he's still an underworld boss, will force passing heroes to aid him in his efforts to free the predators again.

* MindControl: DOR-15 relies on this to continually expand her rule. AUTO is a downplayed example; he doesn't need to modify people's minds, he just needs to keep them fat and docile and they won't do anything to resist him.

** Zootopia has brutally clamped down on rights for predators, forcing all of them to wear the shock collars dropped from the movie and frightening the prey animals to continually vote Bellweather in every election.

** Doomtown has become convinced that Toons are a dangerous minority, and do nothing when Mayor Doom publicly dips them for breaking his laws.

* VillainWithGoodPublicity: Multiple villains, even more so due to the more public nature of Gridlocked. Syndrome, Waternoose, Xanatos, and Callaghan all keep up relatively good public facades to ensure they have control of their regions. Doofenschmirtz is too incompetent to truly scare anyone, and Shego just doesn't give a damn.

* {{Zeerust}}: Overtly present in Syndrome's territory. While the rest of the United States is either devastated or moved into the contemporary, Kronos Corp. still retains the 60's aesthetic from when Syndrome first seized power.
