** Of course, it's highly unlikely that they -- or anyone -- is going to find the legendary treasure One Piece, assuming that it ''is'' a treasure ([[http://www.onepiecepodcast.com/2014/07/27/oda-reveals-what-the-one-piece-isnt/ and WordOfGod confirmed it IS a physical reward, not something like "the growth on your heart" or the bonds]]). As a MacGuffin that drives the entire plot of the series, Gold Roger's treasure will likely not be seen until the finale.

** Even if Ash and Pikachu part with their travelling companions at the end of each arc, they will NEVER truly get rid of Jessie, James, and Meowth. [[{{Determinator}} The three Team Rocket agents are so determined to take Pikachu from Ash in order to give him to Giovanni, that they will forever follow Ash everywhere he goes]]. At the same time, the three can never succeed in stealing any Pokémon with the gadgets they use, if they do manage to grab Pokémon with any net, claw, whatever, the Pokémon will eventually break free, especially since they usually tend to get distracted by a victory feast long enough for Pokémon to escape unnoticed.

Added DiffLines:

* Most ''Manga/{{Doraemon}}'' stories would have Nobita, Doraemon or any of the series' recurring characters going through some major, live-changing events (especially in their {{Non Serial Movie}}s) only for life to continue as usual, like the cast encountering aliens, hostile killer robots, narrowly avert the complete destruction of earth... and then followed by the next chapter returning back to their lives in school. One manga episode take things to the extreme by having Nobita - sick of his parents' nagging, studies and peer pressure - actually [[TheRunaway running away from home]] and ending in a deserted island, where remains there for ''ten years'' until he's re-discovered by Doraemon, who then de-ages Nobita by a decade and sends him back to the past, and the entire story is brushed aside for the usual SliceOfLife antics, never mind how Nobita is now mentally a decade in front of his classmates.

** Ash will hits the ResetButton whenever he finds out about a new region, ditching the Big Three of the last in favor of the next. Also Pikachu always defeats Legendary and Mythical Pokémon, then loses to Level 5 starters at the start of the next region.

** Ash never catches an Eevee, either; the one that was [[NeverTrustATrailer hyped to join Ash]] ended up caught by Lana instead. This is due to certain Pokemon games, mainly ''VideoGame/PokemonYellow'' and ''VideoGame/PokemonLetsGoPikachuAndEevee'', which position Eevee as a mascot opposite from Pikachu, which is also seen in the ''Journeys'' anime when another Eevee becomes Chloe's first Pokemon.
