Ultraman Geed is an 2017 tokusatsu series created by Creator/TsuburayaProductions, and the 29th entry in the Franchise/UltraSeries, with the titular Ultraman being the son of Ultraman Belial.

The universe was destroyed once. Ultraman Belial, in another one of his plans to rule over the galaxy, threatened to use a universe-destroying bomb. In response, Ultraman Hikari created the Ultra Capsules to store the Ultras' powers in order to give them a chance against him. Sadly, the conflict ended with Belial activating it and destroying the universe, with his and the Ultra Capsules' location unknown.

After an unknown event restoring the universe, the restored Earth continues life as normal, though with the Ultramen becoming myths. Riku Asakura, a young man believing himself to be normal, lives with his friend Pega in relative peace until a Kaiju threatens Japan once again. Not wanting to do nothing, Riku and Pega find a mysterious base run by R.E.M, an artificial intelligence waiting for its master, and the mysterious Ultra Capsules. Armed with his Geed Riser, Riku jumps to take action.

However it won't be easy protecting the city. Monsters are kidnapping people with the potential of the "Light", called Little Stars, and they're commanded by a mysterious man with the ability to fuse Kaiju. Luckily, he has help in the form of Ultraman Zero, this time fusing with a salary man named Reito Igaguri while recovering from his loss against Belial, along with the organization AIB and the ronin swordswoman Raiha Toba to aid him. With them at his side, Riku takes the mantle of Ultraman Geed to defend the people!

Crunchyroll announced that a simulcast of Geed the day the first episode came out.
