* UnknownRival: Boomer, Boz and Brady are all totally oblivious to how Lanny is trying to get rid of them to become king himself, often misinterpreting his schemes as attempts to help. Rather than enjoy this, Lanny is infuriated that the trio don't even recognize him as a threat. The only ones who suspect his true nature are Mikayla and Mason.

* KnifeNut: Mikayla really, REALLY, likes machetes. In one episode, knowing she might have reason to use one on Lanny, she gets extremely creepy and starts muttering about "shock and awe" while pondering her favorite machete, Stabitha.
** She also owns a pocket machete, apparently.
** In one episode, Boomer intends to lure her out by yelling out "Who wants free machetes?!"

* AdultFear: Imagine being the triplet's parents. One son was lost in a storm and presumed dead, the other two had to be sent away for their own good, and the parents didn't even live to the day when their sons returned.

* BiggerBad: Yamakoshi is arguably the real schemer for the kings' downfall. [[spoiler: This has importance later on, since he is really the evil twin of the first king.]]
** Kaita the bat-rider, who was the malicious leader of the tarantula people who was imprisoned in the form of a mummy [[spoiler:until Boz sneezed on him in combination with the bat medallion, causing him to terrorize Kinkow once more. He was also the killer of the kings' parents!]]

* Mikayla Makoola (Creator/KelseyChow): Mason's teenage daughter and Brady's love interest. She is shown to be very skilled with swords, and is also the best trained royal bodyguard in the kingdom.

* Lanny (Creator/RyanOchoa): The twins' cousin and the next in line for the throne. He deeply despises Boomer and Brady and often tries come up with ways to get rid of them. Boomer and Brady never realize their cousin's true colors. He is the main antagonist of the series.

* GroundhogDayTimeLoop: In the episode "Do Over", Brady and Boomer find a magical time traveling device that makes them start the whole day over every time they say "[[TitleDrop do over]]".

* StartMyOwn: Not satified with how Brady runs Kinkow's Junga Ball team, Boomer started his own team.

* BrokenAesop: The "Dinner for Squonks" episode arguably warns about respecting the attitudes of other cultures. However, the Squonks, while nice and well-meaning, did not respect the kings' culture, as they forced Brady and Boomer to do things that were disgusting for humans (assuming the Squonks are not human - it was implied they aren't by the way a Squonk with a human-looking and Squonk-sized twin said that twin ''was'' human).

* CrouchingMoronHiddenBadass: Brady and Boomer can kick surprising amounts of ass when Mason and Mikayla aren't there to bail them out. "The Prom", "Kings of Legend, pt. 2", and Sleep Ninja Brady are prime examples.
* DamnedByFaintPraise: Boomer is given a plague that reads 'your dancing makes others feel better about themselves'.

** Boz also has traces of this: "Wow, tough childhood. When I was five I was naked and living in a tree."

* DoesNotLikeShoes: Boz is seen wandering around barefooted in some episodes.

* RiggedContest: For the ''King For a Day Contest'', Lanny stuffed the ballot box with his name so he could win. Averted, however, because by some miracle, Lanny did not win.

*** When Boomer and Boz went to Chicago to visit Rebecca Dawson and her Dad, Boz intentionally broke Mr. Dawson's vase under the belief it'd repair itself as well.

* TheUnreveal: Nobody knows who the eldest twin is. This is the reason Brady and Boomer equally share the power as the Kings of Kinkow instead of the elder twin being the only king.
