* FoolishSiblingResponsibleSibling: Liu Bei and Gonsung Zhan, the protagonist duo and siblings of Dong-Wong-Kwan. Liu Bei is foolish AllLovingHero while Gonsung Zhan is the responsible AloofDarkHairedGirl. Sun Ce and his sister, the Gang-Dong-Kwan siblings. Ironically, while Liu Bei and Su Chen get along just fine after the initial hiccups, the two girls just snark at each other at best.

He also doesn't hesitate to [[spoiler: kill Dong Zhuo]] despite Liu Bei's attempts to persuade him otherwise.
