* HufflepuffHouse: There are three squads for Knight School, each with four members: Phoenix Squad, Kraken Squad, and Unicorn Squad: Phoenix Squad easily gets the most focus with all four of its members being significant characters. In Kraken Squad, only Sage and Buttercup play noteworthy roles on the show, [[LivingProp whereas the other two members (Kraipan, Lucky) mostly just follow them around and rarely even speak.]] Unicorn Squad never plays a major in the series, with most of its members being replaced throughout the series with no consequences, and they almost never speak. The squad's members are that forgettable and flat.

* AnachronismStew: The fantasy setting excuses much of it, though the main characters are all trainees at knight school and learn to fight with swords and bows and similar "medieval" style weaponry while using smartphones (called "magic mirrors") which are used for posting to social media and taking photos and videos.

* BadLiar: Ciara and Arc, ''constantly''. Almost every time they have to come up with a lie on the spot, they're both absolutely terrible at it.

* TheDitz: Buttercup.
