* ShoutOut: The ridiculous names [[WhoNamesTheirKidDude "Giacchia"]] and [[UnfortunateName "Brut"]][[note]]"brutto" is Italian for "ugly"[[/note]] are a reference to characters Jackie and Brooke from soap opera ''Series/TheBoldAndTheBeautiful''. Also, in one episode Brut accuses her husband of cheating on her with a dead woman named "Tarla", another reference to a character from the same soap opera (Darla).

Your Cheating Heart is an index, not a trope.

Dewicking per TRS decision.

* BiTheWay: Enzio, due to his SplitPersonality. Dr. Maceti is also revealed to be this in the second-to-last episode when, during an argument with Enzio, he starts making out with him.

* KilledOffForReal: Annaluce in the middle of the series. She dies, never appears again, and the name of her actress is (literally) crossed out in the opening. Averted with Dr. Maceti who dies in one of the early episodes but is BackFromTheDad one day later ("I resurrected!").

Added DiffLines:

Italian sitcom of 20 episodes. It’s a soap opera parody about the surreal shenanigans of three married couples.

It involves a lot of infidelities, pseudo-love scenes, NonSequitur, malapropism, InsaneTrollLogic, (intentionally) awful acting, and soap opera clichés taken to absurd and creepy extremes. The characters have weird and unusual names, the opening theme is completely off key, and the closing credits only consist of a random recipe (different in every episode) that has nothing to do with the show. Every scene, every second, every single dialogue is largely nonsensical.

!!This series provides examples of:
* AndThereWasMuchRejoicing: After his wife Annaluce is killed by accident, Enzio starts dancing happily with his gardener.
* BitchInSheepsClopthing: Giacchia acts all sweet and loving to her husband (and son) Alonzo. Meanwhile, not only she cheats on him repeatedly, she also tries to kill him in every way possible.
* BiTheWay: Enzio, due to his SplitPersonality. Dr. Maceti is also revealed to be this in the second-to-last episode when, during an argument with Enzio, he starts making out with him.
* BrotherSisterIncest: Enzio and Annaluce are both this and ParentalIncest, as revealed in the pilot. See LukeIamYourFather.
* {{Cloudcuckoolander}}: Everyone, big time.
--> '''Enzio:''' Finally I can do everything I want! Climbing mountains underground, peeling lemons, stealing porcupines!
* DeathIsCheap: Parodied. Brut's reaction after her husband's death is "My husband Dr. Maceti is dead! I have to find someone to cheat on him with before he resurrects". And he does.
* DirtyOldMan: Dr. Maceti cheats on his wife with young girls, [[ILoveTheDead corpses]], and even men.
* GenderBlenderName: Maria, the son briefly adopted by Enzio and Alvara.
* KilledOffForReal: Annaluce in the middle of the series. She dies, never appears again, and the name of her actress is (literally) crossed out in the opening. Averted with Dr. Maceti who dies in one of the early episodes but is BackFromTheDad one day later ("I resurrected!").
* LukeIAmYourFather: Enzio finding out he is…his own father.
--> '''Enzio:''' Annaluce, I know we have been married for years but I have something to tell you…I am YOUR FATHER!
--> '''Annaluce:''' (after screaming) I have something to tell you too… I am your SISTEEEER!
--> '''Enzio:''' But that means… I am MY father! Oh, dad, I have finally found you!
'' [he starts hugging himself] ''
* LargeHam: Everyone (except [[TheVoiceless Manolo]]) can be overdramatic, but Rupert Sciamenna as Dr. Maceti is probably the most exaggerated of them. [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-m_0d91BqRQ Evidence here]].
* {{Matricide}}: In an early episode, Annaluce tells Enzio that she has killed her mother. [[AbortedArc This is never mentioned again.]]
* MayDecemberRomance: Dr. Maceti is a DirtyOldMan and much older than his wife Brut. And his mistress Alvara is so young that she could easily pass off as his ''granddaughter''.
* MurderByMistakes: Brunos, a hitman [[ItMakesSenseInContext hired by Enzio to kill Manolo]], accidentally kills Enzio’s wife Annaluce instead. However Enzio is perfectly okay with this.
* ParentalAbandonment: Enzio and Alvara adopt a "child" (well, he is actually a fat adult man in baby outfits) but after two episodes they decide to abondon him in a dumpster.
* ParentalIncest: Alonzo is married to Giacchia who is also his mother. He actually calls her "mother wife Giacchia". There's also Enzio and Annaluce, see LukeIamYourFather.
* PromotionToOpeningTitles: Manolo in the last two episodes.
* TheScapegoat: Manolo the gardener. He's omnipresent and the other characters often blame him just because he's behind them at that moment.
* SplitPersonality: Enzio due to being both himself and his father in the same body. Enzio's father is gay and Enzio is not.
* TokenGoodTeammate: Alonzo is the only character who never cheats on his partner and never tries to deceive or hurt other characters.
* UglyGuyHotWife: All three the married couples. The women are all fairly attractive, the husbands… not so much.
* TheVoiceless: Manolo the gardener.
* YourCheatingHeart: Maceti cheats on Brut with Alvara, Brut cheats on Maceti with Jonasat, Giacchia cheats on Alonzo with Jonasat, and Enzio cheats on Annaluce with Alvara.
