* BaitAndSwitchPerformance: Inverted in "The Idol Side of Me". Miley hears what she thinks is her rival Amber singing horribly in the girls' restroom and, seizing an opportunity to humiliate her, calls her as Hannah to select her to be her partner on Singing with the Stars. However, when Amber shows off her singing after getting picked, Miley discovers she actually has a great singing voice, and that the voice she overheard was really her dumb lackey.

* BrokenPedestal: In "Bye Bye Ball", Miley goes through the trouble of trying to get Jackon's signed baseball replaced by getting his hero to sign one. The trouble is, he exploits her desperation to sing at his pizzeria in order to earn it. When Jackson witnesses this, he calls his former hero on his selfish attitude and storms off. The epilogue later reveals that , after arranging a deal on Miley's terms, [[RebuiltPedestal he earned Jackson's respect again]].

* SweetAndSourGrapes: Zigzagged in "Bye Bye Ball". Miley wanted little else than to get back at Jackson for accidentally destroying her teddy bear by destroying his prized baseball signed by his hero. But when she attempts to "accidentally" destroy it like she intended, she finds she doesn't have it in her heart to retaliate him like this and forgoes her revenge. Unfortunately, her revenge just so happens to fall in her lap anyway when she accidentally throws the ball into the food processor. At first, she doesn't take it well until she realizes shehas exactly what she wanted: to get back at Jackson , and the alibi that it was "[[InnocentlyInsensitiv Just an]] [[IronicEcho accident]]". ...But then it's deconstructed when it turns out Jackson fixed Miley's bear, so he may be off the hook, but Miley is now on the hook.

* Miley getting Jackson a new signed baseball involved her as Hannah (who usually has sold out concerts in amazing venues) singing at an ordinary restaurant for an annoying owner. Which included having to a sing a song off key on purpose that owner could perform with her and during the performance does an unrehearsed stunt with Hannah that almost injured Miley.

* FoolishSiblingResponsibleSibling: Played with, with Miley and Jackson. Miley comes off as the more responsible of the two due to acting more mature and getting better grades than her brother, and Jackson being somewhat of a slacker who cant keep his room clean, but Miley is the more likely of the two to be involved in poorly thought out ZanySchemes. Not that Jackson doesn't get involved in them, but its usually due him being roped in to them, usually willingly, by Miley.
