''Dragula'' [[note]]Full title: ''[[LongTitle The Boulet Brother's Dragula: Search for the World's Next Drag Supermonster]]''[[/note]] is a RealityShow hosted by drag queen couple The Boulet Brothers. The series stars a number of [[DragQueen drag queens]] competing for the title of the World's Next Drag Supermonster. Before you say that there's [[Series/RuPaulsDragRace already a show for that]], what makes ''Dragula'' notable is its emphasis on the types of drag that typically don't receive much attention in the media: freaky, filthy, and downright horrific is the name of the game here, and the types of messiness that would get you kicked out of any drag club are lauded here. Despite this, the show gives a very fair and humane voice to its queens, noting that they are normal people whose drag falls outside of what is accepted by society. The show also takes special care to avoid the over-production ''Drag Race'' has fallen prey to in more recent seasons: the Boulets are more than willing to insult queens, call them out on their BS, and just generally have fun screwing around with them.

It's worth noting that amateur drag competitions are popular fixtures at many drag clubs across the US.[[/note]] before making the jump to a full-length TV show in 2016.
